The Union Inn - Speisekarte

Probably the most traditional locals' pub in Moretonhampstead. Cosy public bar with coal fire. An excellent dark real ale at an acceptable 5.1%. Family owned proper freehouse.

I am on crutches recovering from an operation. Friends took me for lunch at the Union. The lady behind the bar was wicked and good fun. It was a lovely atmosphere great staff great food and plenty of it. Well done

I can't tell you how amazing the food was here and good value Friendly lovely land lady and generally good local pub atmosphere. Food home made the salad so fresh and best Stilton and cranberry pie ever! We will be back with friends. Magic! Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely pub, very atmospheric in middle of small village Moreton. We had the Bubble n squeak with 2 eggs, bacon beans which was lovely) Emily had a roast beef which she loved, there was so much veg. Very nice pub, great food service. Highly recommend.

Stopped off for lunch last Wednesday .A real find-a proper pub doing really good home made food and plenty of it.A cosy pub with a nice fire and friendly ,welcoming atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Would definitely go back when we are in the area again.

Lovely evening at the union inn, landlord and staff make you feel very welcome and are very accommodating.. food portions are very generous.. suggestion would be not to eat much before eating at the union inn as you most definitely won’t leave feeling hungry!! What a gem! We stopped on our way for a quick and light lunch. The service and food were both fantastic. The bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful. The menu was extensive and the food was delicious. Everything came out quickly. The cozy atmosphere with a roaring fire was very comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless. We will definitely return the next time we're in the area.

This excellent traditional pub restaurant located on Dartmoor is a must-visit. The service is top-notch, with a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. We tried the Christmas pie and the steak and ale pie, both of which were homemade with delicious shortcrust pastry. The side of vegetables, mashed potato, and chips complemented the meal perfectly. I would definitely make a special trip to dine here again.

My friends and I recently enjoyed a fantastic lunch at The Union, our go-to meeting spot. The pies here are always exceptional, and this time we tried the Christmas turkey, sausage bacon, and stuffing pie, which was absolutely delicious. The pie was generously filled and the gravy was superb. The steak and kidney pudding that the boys ordered was also fantastic. We were so full from our mains that we didn't have any room left for dessert, but that's okay because The Union never fails to impress. Speisekarte ansehen
