The Village Diner - Speisekarte

After a recommendation for Sunday lunch I decided to down from Cardiff I must say I was not disappointed large portions of food homemade gravy. What more can you ask for I will be back

Called in after shopping, fancied a roast dinner,both of us had chicken such a lot on the plate for a standard size.Well presented and piping hot, staff always courteous, will be calling again soon, perhaps for a curry.

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. The homemade cakes and food are delicious, especially the corned beef pie. I always like to buy a dessert to take home as well. I have also ordered their Sunday dinner for takeout and it is always very tasty. I highly recommend this place. Speisekarte ansehen

This is a good cafe with decent parking space. It is dog friendly but not overrun with them. The large breakfast was lovely although the sausages were catering standard. I am sure local butchers could provide some of far better quality. Unfortunately the tomatoes were tinned rather than fresh The young lady taking the orders and serving was cheerful and welcoming

Wonderful café and wonderful hot pot of tea and cute milk urn for the milk. Delicious apple pie and icecream and throughly nice lady serving at till. The home cooked dinners and huge selection of lunches, cakes and buns were excellent. Very appealing. Large room suitable for groups and dog friendly. Which was helpful as we have a small dog. Very popular with the locals.

Visited today for breakfast. One lady taking orders and making beverages, another young girl just hanging around waiting to take orders out and clear tables while the queue just built up. . Food did arrive swiftly but wrong items on breakfast plate. The breakfast itself was bland, sausages were like pulp and hash browns soggy. We went to this restaurant for lunch and were disappointed to find many tables uncleared with food piled up, which was very off-putting. The food took a long time to come out, and by the time it did, there were four dirty tables nearby attracting flies. We were especially disappointed when we saw a staff member on her phone all the time, even as she walked past the dirty tables to bring out the food. Overall, not good enough.

I have been a regular at this cafe for several years and have never thought to write a review until now. I absolutely adore the cozy atmosphere of this place. The fact that there are always regular customers speaks volumes about the quality of the food and the service. I have never been disappointed with any of my meals here, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dessert. My personal favorites are the full cooked breakfast and the chicken curry.

We have just returned after having Sunday lunch at the Village Diner in Ewenny. I just had to write about our experience. I last went approx 9 months ago and wrote a review, that after we had been going for years, how disappointed because I felt that the deliveries were overtaking the cafe. I HAVE GOT TO SAY, THAT HAS ALL CHANGED. I had a beautiful cooked Sunday lunch, with my husband and my mother in law. The food has always been excellent and now the delivery people have to go to a totally seperate door and not through the cafe. It is so much better. It is fresher and brighter, with new table and chairs and the food is, as near to a home cooked dinner that you can have. We will definitely... Speisekarte ansehen
