"We went into the Westgate pub for lunch and found it to be quite a lovely old pub in the centre of Bath. The food was reasonably priced and of good quality and quantity. We must give a shout to Sam the barman who put up with my jokes and also served excellent beer with good humour. Must go there again on our next visit to Bath."

Sam was out bartender and he was fab! Very friendly and made wonderful drinks. Highly recommend.

Waited too long for mediocre food and service. Chicken was obviously from frozen. Looked like scraps on a plate. Never received the refund I requested.

Had a very enjoyable meal here with some friends. Lauren was very friendly and catered to our dietary requirements, and even brought a treat for our dog. Would highly recommend the katsu chicken burger

Took a seat and was served at all despite the staff going by multiple times. Oh well, I guess my money will go to other businesses. As for this one, they better change their attitude if they want to keep up a good reputation.

Asked for IPA shandy but told it was not good as a shandy and to pick something else????ordered food which was overpriced,the chicken was so overcooked couldn't get fork in it,sauce was dried up ,handful of chips,really poor meal.toilets stinking ! Don't bother.

"Greeted by huge smiles and welcomes from all the staff, service was like fine dining without all the poshness. Great value pastas were all £10 or under, very generous portions (we nearly didn't finish after sharing a tomato bruschetta and tuna carpaccio entrees). Had the seafood orrichiette in tomato, bean and chilli sauce and the linguine king prawns with olives and sundries tomatoes in napoletana sauce. All very good quality ingredients, authentic Italian cooking. Also can't not mention the yummy tiramisu (not too sweet- a great balance). A real gem of a restaurant MUST visit if you're in Bath!"

"new: we love this place so much, we come every time we are in bath, today no take! excellent service and simply amazing eating! they have no idea how to taste the tofu, but it is the best cunning tofu I have ever tasted! original: beautiful caffe. good seating in the sun with picturesque outside area. excellent food and service and beautiful unique drinks. ideal for vegans with adjustable menu! we were available for breakfast and have taken place immediately."

"I found this place on a blog posted on FB. It was a last-minute plan, I called them to see if they had a table half another prior, they were really nice and answered all my questions. We sat outside, the atmosphere was so nice, great play list, staff were super friendly, they accommodated our diet, the food was top quality, all cooked so beautifully, it was both pleasing to the eye and tast pods. We had the nut roast which had a great crunch texture, super light, with roasted potatoes which were so crispy and delicious, the carrots had a sweet taste which could be honey, and the cauliflower cheese was cooked to perfection, the Yorkshire pudding was massive and good, and the greens were also nicely cooked. The crumble was sooooo yummy, crunchy, and not too sweet, with cinnamon ice cream , I can't remember what my partner had for dessert, but he enjoyed it too. I'm not easy to please when it comes to eating out, but this one was spectacular It was such a nice experience. They really made my day "

"We went to CASCARA for a late lunch and we both enjoyed a tofu scramble wrap. It was flavorful and a little spicy from the Sriracha. The side salad is a nice touch and tasted fresh. We also shared a slice of the blueberry loaf and it was delicious albeit very sweet. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy. It probably pairs nicely with coffee. The service was very friendly as well."

"We only popped in to get a coffee, first of all the coffee was amazing which is why it is 4 stars. However, we did have to sit outside as the inside seating was full and unfortunately it wasn't the warmest weather. Felt a bit like we were intruding in a local café, everyone looking as we entered. Service was OK, not the warmest, but coffee was served quickly. My partner took back in the tray of empty mugs and apparently got a bizarre look off the servers. I'd stop by again for the coffee though!"
