The Westbourne Pub - Speisekarte

Absolutely love the Westbourne! I hadn't been for a while as it's quite far from where I live but the Sunday roast was so good that I am in fact going back again today! The staff were very friendly attentive. The whole experience was great! Thank you :

Lovely pub but the staff were not very friendly, it felt like they didn’t want to be there? We had food which was great but one of the staff took my plate before I had finished, without asking which made us feel like they didn’t want us to be there either!

The Westbourne is a really unique and fabulous combo of a true neighbourhood pub (that’s super friendly and welcoming AND a real dining treat because the food’s so good. The staff are fab (love Toby! and it’s a nice big airy space that never feels cramped. Pub quiz on Tuesday nights is also fun. Ps Don’t miss the brownie pudding!

Wow! What a fabulous surprise. Firstly, beautifully redecorated inside is now a large and airy space. The outside space is perfect for a summer's day. We all ordered the Sunday roast the beef and the lamb. Probably the best roast we've had! An excellent selection of gins and beers with friendly staff. We will definitely be returning!!

What a fantastic place to visit for Sunday lunch. The most friendly efficient staff who were attentive but in a brilliantly helpful way. The food was also fabulous. I had the vegetarian option which was delicious. Our table was reserved for 3pm but we were in no way made to feel rushed to leave despite this. Absolutely recommend and we will definitely be back. Great spot for good beer and food at value for money prices. Selection of drinks and food comprehensive and food was well prepared, fresh and super tasty all served up by a helpful and friendly team. Loads of space both inside and outside and following a recent refurb the place is bright and open plan and very clean. They even refurbished the loo's which are also super clean.

We have not been to this pub since it was refurbished. We called in today on the spur of the moment for just one drink. Bar staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I mentioned that this was an unplanned stop and that we had a dog with us. I was given a water bowl and handful of treats. We’ll plan to pop back for lunch some time as the food looked delicious. Loos were very clean. Only mentioned as some people have raised concerns.

I visit this pub on a regular basis and the last two times I have been left disappointed the staff have changed, no longer smiling and welcoming but arrogant and miserable. It feels like you’ve walked in on an argument between staff their wine is expensive and the kitchen isn’t always open you can’t ever just “pop in” and sit at a table for a drink because they have an annoying policy of booking a table in advance it’s a pub, not a restaurant!

Really really disappointed with Sunday lunch . Eaten here before no issues loved it. Yesterday roast beef resembled old shoe leather I couldn’t cut it it was either well over cooked or has sat left alone on a warming plate for too long. I had probably a pint of gravy which drowned my entire meal I did comment to the staff he said oh sorry about that that’s not the way to do it Love the barman and his drinks but not happy with the service for a customer that goes in regularly
