Fantastic local pub....warm welcoming and friendly staff. Amazing place to visit during COVID, it feels extremely safe due to all the hard work to ensure everyone is ok.

Thank you so much Dave and team for making my 50th birthday so special with gorgeous food and plenty of Sweet Caroline remixes. You made us so welcome and the food was amazing.

I have eaten here on several occasions and the food is always good. A proper local pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly and fantastic fish and chips on a Friday. It is popular so be sure to book if you intend to have a meal. Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped in for a drink on our way back to our vacation rental. The atmosphere was really friendly and we felt very welcome and included by the nice group of locals in the bar. The selection of well-kept ales was good. Overall, a very pleasant place.

Superb local pub. Lovely atmosphere with friendly welcoming owners and staff. Excellent freshly prepared food, with excellent service. A lovely open fire. Perfect for a stop after a walk round the lanes. Definitely recommend this place also has a great garden and children's play area.

I went to a Christmas carvery for Sunday lunch in mid-December. The food was amazing with a wide variety of options, and they were able to accommodate my vegetarian daughter (but you need to pre-book this). The staff were super friendly, and overall it was a fabulous experience. It's a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the visit. Speisekarte ansehen

I popped in for a cold beer but as I was driving decided to have a non alcoholic beer mixed with half a normal beer as I don’t like shandy with lemonade! £6.50 but the normal beer I got for a friend was £4! I said what’s going on, reply I got was £4.50 for small bottle of becks blue, I challenged this as I often drink this and it’s normally £2 approx! Barman said that’s what we charge, I didn’t want to cause a scene so paid, as I’m local and looking forward r a pub to use was very disappointed! I’ll never drink in there again, hope they are happy!

We went in a large group for Sunday carvery at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We usually visit once a year for a big family gathering with over 15 people, and we always have a great time and receive a warm welcome. The food is always fresh and hot, and there is a fantastic play area outside for our children. The premises are clean and the music is just the right volume. They have a great selection of beers and spirits. We can't fault this restaurant, especially considering it's in a small country. We can't wait for our next visit.

We have had many lunch time meals at this pub/restaurant but this was our first evening meal. I was very impressed with the menu choice and was not disappointed on delivery. Those eating the beef thought it was beautifully cooked and tasty. The two fish mains were lovely and the children enjoyed their choices from the children's menu. In fact all our meals were delicious and presented well. There was a good choice of desserts which went down well. Our waitresses were attentive, friendly and accommodating. I cannot fault the service in this pub/ restaurant. We will visit again. Speisekarte ansehen
