Lovely family run traditional pub, great food and beers. Had a lovely ploughmans with chunky bread and ask if I could have cheese and ham and landlord obliged at no extra cost.

We visit often as always a great welcome. Landlord is a character and always friendly. Carol's pies really are the best. Definitely an old school local pub with the added advantage of serving great food. Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped by for drinks during lunchtime at the Dudsbury golf course. The pub was just a short walk down the road. The beer was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We would definitely return when in the area.

Visited tonight as a group of friends, met by the landlord who invited us in. Drinks ordered we were offered a chat and a seat in a very friendly establishment. Thank you for such a pleasant experience we will be back.

Not a friendly pub at all, landlord was extremely rude and unwelcoming, we stayed for one drink but was made to feel so uncomfortable so we had to leave. Went to the angel down the road, it’s so much better and staff are amazing there!! Speisekarte ansehen

I stopped by this pub for a beer, but ended up indulging in a delicious traditional dinner after seeing the menu. The establishment is a cozy old pub with a great variety of beer and scrumptious homemade dishes. I opted for the chicken pie with chips and peas, a classic choice that did not disappoint. The pie was truly delicious, surpassing even my mother's homemade version. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and tasty food. During our weekend getaway in Ferndown, we ventured out from our highly recommended hotel, the Bridghouse Hotel, in search of a local pub. We stumbled upon the White Hart, arriving just as it opened. The cozy pub had a log burner going and offered a selection of well-maintained local real ales from the 'Badger brewery' including Firsty Ferret and Tanglefoot. Despite the windy weather keeping many customers indoors, the friendly landlady Carol made us feel welcome. We enjoyed two hours of good company, great beers, and a fantastic ambiance.
