Nipped in when in Bladon and were lucky enough just to make the Sunday Roast. Absolutely superb great potatoes and the service was fantatsic.

Just had Sunday lunch here and we all loved it Ben and Tori makes the difference and gives atmosfere to the place Thank you Guys We will see you again soon

I must have hit it on a bad day as the food was not fresh, the bread burnt, the portions embarrassing. It’s expensive so you expect something better. If there is a worse ploughman’s in Britain I’d be surprised. Speisekarte ansehen

We opted for the lunch special of fish and chips with peas, accompanied by a glass of wine for £15. The meal was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pub is beautifully decorated and has a charming garden in the back.

We stopped here following a recommendation from the mini garage down the road and so pleased we did. The food was amazing and the beer garden was perfect for lunch. The boy serving us as well on his own was doing a great job as well. Highly recommend

I took our team of 6 for a celebratory Christmas lunch. It was absolutely delicious…I couldn’t fault it! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone hoping for a treat. The food was excellent, we both enjoyed the fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The dining space was peaceful, making conversations more enjoyable. The staff were attentive and accommodating, we never had to leave our seats once we were seated. It felt more like a upscale restaurant than a pub. Well done to everyone for the great service.

We visited this restaurant as a halfway point for our family to meet up and to visit Churchill's grave just over the road. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is dog-friendly both inside and out. However, it was quite noisy due to its location on a main road. The main issue we had was with the food. The couple sitting next to us complained about their meal, and we also felt disappointed with our ploughman's lunches which were priced at £11 each. We felt that we did not get enough food for the price we paid and left feeling ripped off. Due to this experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

We’d booked a late session for a family group of 9 and we had a table nicely set back in the middle. Tor looked after us as well as we could have hoped, they had saved us 9 portions of beef in case we had all wanted it which was a very thoughtful touch. We polished off 5 of them. The beef was deliciois annd more than enough and nicely cooked, plenty of veg to suit all. Kids had the burgers which were all very enjoyed. Clean plates all round speaks volumes. Service was always attentive, efficient and friendly. Community pubs are the way forward and when run well like this give a nice atmosphere as well as something for the whole community.
