"The Sunday lunch portion was a good size and I rated it 5 stars. I couldn't find any faults with it. However, the waitress who served us didn't seem very experienced and may not be suitable for working in a pub or restaurant. The pub wasn't very busy, but the service was quite slow. We didn't have any appetizers and had to wait 40 minutes to be served with no apparent reason. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. On the plus side, the meal was very good. There is no parking available, but dogs are allowed."

This charming village pub offers a wonderful selection of beers and delicious home-cooked food. It's the perfect spot to stop at after a walk or include as a pit stop along the way.

What a super Sunday roast today. Very tasty, massive portion, tender meat. massive yorkshire pudding and heaps of veggies. super service thank you PJ and others. You were all super.

My food was amazing, everything for me was cooked perfectly.(I had roast pork) we had to wait a fair bit to be served, which considering it was fairly quiet when we arrived was unexpected. The staff were lovely. The meal was fairly priced. Speisekarte ansehen

A really nice pub in a lovely village green location with plenty of parking around. Arrived here with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon after a long enjoyable day of walking locally. Very good choice of beers/wines and we decided to stay for a Sunday roast which was plentiful and excellent! An added bonus was that staff and customers were very friendly!

We stopped by after a hike and had a fantastic experience with the welcoming and friendly staff. They even catered to dogs with a separate menu, which I had never seen before. I tried the delicious steak and ale pie from the specials board and we were full for the rest of the evening. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back if we are in the area again.
