Met with a friend for a catch up, The Yard was busy but we were seated straight away, our drinks order was taken and served promptly. The food was delicious, the place has a lovely vibe and the staff are cheerful and friendly. Brilliant eaterie and highly recommended.

Been here a few times now since moving to the area and it’s always really lovely. We’ve had a few things for lunch, the coffees are always really nice the cakes are delicious. Always really friendly service, reasonably priced nice and clean. Happy to go again and again, lovely neighbourhood place

Love the decor and staff friendly . Had the Yorkshire platter brunch for 2 . Nice but the toasted sour dough bread nearly broke out teeth , suggest not toasting it . Scones chocolate only , too sweet and fell apart when she tried to cut them overall a nuce experience, a bit pricey for the average family as a treat nice .. Speisekarte ansehen

I've been following The Yard Coffee Shop Bistro on Instagram for a while, and intending to swing by to eat here. I called in yesterday morning with my wife for breakfast, and we weren't disappointed. The food, atmosphere, music and service were all absolutely outstanding. Eating here feels like you could well be on a European city break experiencing the cafe culture of any cosmopolitan city. I would 100% recommend eating here, and we'll definitely call again soon.

Perfect breakfast spot with fantastic food and drink and superb staff. I always enjoyed visiting The Yard while I lived in Wickersley and I still make the trip across Rotherham usually whenever I want to enjoy the relaxing vibe and treat myself to one of their terrific breakfasts. Today's was particularly good. The staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. I went for my usual favourite The Full English Breakfast and today was the best it's ever been. Beautiful produce cooked to perfection. Also if you think you don't like black pudding then it's probably because you haven't had it at The Yard. We came here after hearing great things and was a little disappointed as we left. I think the general feel of the place is great and the staff are nice enough but a few things really let it down for me. Firstly, we ordered the first round of drinks and that was great. I then ordered a smoothie but it never arrived (there was an apology when we left which was appreciated that it was acknowledged). Secondly, I ordered a club sandwich and when it arrived I was really disappointed. It arrived as a ham sandwich. I did expect the quality of the ham to be a little better than what arrived, and there wasn’t any chicken. As soon as I took it back, there was some chicken added to the plate and it then...
