"Absolutely the best. I am gluten free and I can get gravy here as well as my meat and veg. Today we visited Shrewsbury and believe me they have lots of places to eat but as soon as I saw The York Roast Company was there all others faded. Excellent value for money, excellant staff."

I traveled from Basignstoke to Shrewsbury for the game between Shrewsbury and Shots and stopped at this place for a pre-match dinner. It was heavenly and I highly recommend this place for a meal.

I had dinner last night before 11 o'clock and it was absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend this restaurant. While it is a bit expensive and not something I could afford to do weekly, the quality of the food is excellent.

We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and ordered 3 dishes. Despite the crowded restaurant, the staff kept us informed about the wait times for our orders. The food was fantastic and well presented. We enjoyed it so much that we could have eaten another dish. LOL.
