"Truly awful, how hard can it be to keep the place clean? The serving staff looked although they had been cleaning as they had dirty whites on! The manager of this establishment needs to get his or her act together or find another job that does not involve serving customers. The business model of serving a roast is not hard and should be done well, this restaurant does not do this well. I had the misfortune to sit where I could see the servery and the organisation behind the supply of food to the servery was totally non existent, the front of house server was spending his time fetching food whilst people stood waiting to be served. Truly a disaster, the manager is the one to blame for this, he/she should be sacked. I would add that this is not the first time that I have been to this place, but on the first couple of occasions it was just as bad, but I gave them another chance, what a mistake!"

This restaurant offers great value for money and is easy to make a reservation. It's a great option for those looking for a place that serves Becks Blue non-alcoholic beer.

We arrived at 6pm and didn't have to wait in line. The Yorkshire puddings were huge and delicious. The treacle sponge dessert was fantastic. For two carveries and desserts, our total bill came to £25. It was an amazing experience!

You really need someone who is responsible for replacing food when it's gone and not expecting the boss who is trying to do this. Had to ask for new roast potatoes how they looked like they were cremated. Brussels Spirouts looks the same. He also had to ask for gravity how it had run out. The food meter must be kept clean at any time.

The restaurant could really benefit from having a dedicated staff member responsible for replacing food when it runs out, instead of relying on the chef who is carving. I had to request fresh roast potatoes because the ones in the tray appeared overcooked. The Brussels sprouts seemed to be in a similar state. Additionally, I had to ask for gravy as they had run out. The food counter should be maintained clean at all times.

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
