Great service from Mandy and Steve who both make sure you have all you need and are friendly and chatty. Will definitely go again with all the family

All the problems with this Toby carvery is down to poor management. No one lasts here because the manager is too arrogant to do any work himself and employs low quality staff paid peanuts.

Fantastic carvery. Fresh juicy generous portions of beef and tasty vegetables. Restaurant was clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and polite. Been to this restaurant numerous times with the same impeccable standard every time.

Absolutely gorgeous food so much nicer than it used to be all new staff and management which has made it so much better the food was hot and so fresh quick and easy service. we all cleared our plates and all staff were so happy and cheerful which made it that extra bit special the staff were also very helpful nothing was to much for them especially our waitress Kelly. Would rate this a 10/10

Kelly was our waitress tonight she is amazing. Her service was impeccable and brought smiles to the table! It was my dads birthday it couldn’t have gone better with the service, help and genuine care of Kelly this evening.It’s lovely to have someone who shows they actually care about what they do , it was like second nature to her.Thank you Kelly for all your help tonight we will definitely be back and hope to have Kelly again!

Having not been here for a long time due to a previous bad experience customer service wise, we decided to take a chance today and go for lunch. So glad we did. The girl who greeted us was polite and friendly when we arrived and showed us to a table. Kelly the waitress was a breath of fresh air! Polite, engaging and very attentive. We had the Brioche bun with Roast Beef and horseradish, it came with roast potatoes and a Yorkie and gravy. There was so much meat in the bun and the potatoes and Yorkie were fantastic. After today's visit we will definitely be going back. After todays visit and the food I would recommend.

Came here for dinner on a week night, it wasn't busy at all. Staff were just stood around chatting and ignoring us. We made eye contact with at least three members of staff before someone finally seated us. When asking for refillable drinks we were told to help ourselves but weren't told where the machine or glasses were. It also took about 20 minutes to get a member of staff so I could pay our bill. I could see about four just stood around chatting in the kitchen and none seemingly wanted to serve me. The food was warm at best, the gravy being the only element of the meal that was hot. If you want a good roast dinner with decent service, go elsewhere.

I came here for lunch with my partner. We were seated quickly and our server Kelly was phenomenal a proper credit to the company. Our drinks orders were taken and Kelly also kept us entertained with lil chats and laughs. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us gravy before we even had to ask and also extra napkin each knowing we would need them. These little touches really make a meal an experience. We chose two beef Yorkie wraps. The food was to die for beef was full of flavour and perfect for a lunchtime treat. I cannot thank Kelly enough for making our first and not last visit a real winner. The lady that met me at the door needs to work on her welcoming! I had booked a table for 8pm, however arrived at the restaurant for 7.18pm. Informed the lady and her reply, "You 're 43minutes early! "I explained, "Just drove down from Liverpool and I thought it best to book a later table, just incase we hit traffic issues on 200 mile drive! "Her reply, "I should have booked for 7pm! "When she realised I wasn 't impressed with her attitude, she walked away to check if she had a table! Returned within 15 seconds to escort us to a table!Our server was Phoebe, who was absolutely excellent and I couldn 't fault her at all!
