Mangiato stasera, abbiamo gustato caponata, sarde fritte con la menta, pasta alla carbonara di pesce, tagliatelle con pesce spada, tutto molto buono, il proprietario super gentile, ti accoglie con familiarità, prezzi bassi per le quantità e qualità.. I dolci super, consigliatissimo

Cibo ottimo e di buona qualità. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, la carne era tenerissima e saporita, la pasta ben condita e buona. Il titolare è simpatico, cordiale,gentile e molto disponibile. Ottimo rapportò qualità prezzo. Unica pecca il vino ma la trattoria merita ampiamente le 5 stelle.

Pasta alle sarde con finocchietto e uvetta selvatica da 10 e lode. Buonissima anche la caponatina e le alici di antipasto. La pasta a 10 euro, molto onesti e qualità eccellente, ve lo dice uno che conosce e ama la vera cucina siciliana, che non è più così facile trovare, almeno sulla costa. Grazie davvero, bravissimi! Piatti fatti con attenzione e prodotti genuini.Forse non conosco abbastanza i piatti del luogo ma ho trovato abbinamenti non scontati e ben selezionati.Molto gradevoli, oltre che interessanti.Il tutto in una cornice di semplicità e familiarità.Per esserne sicuro sono tornato lasciandomi consigliare nella scelta dei piatti.Un bel ricordo da portare a casa.Merita indubbiamente

We were welcomed warmly by the owner- he explained the dishes and said that Pasta alla Norma was cooked 5 minutes ago. We had two pastas, both of them delicious, full of flavors, with that mouthful that only home-cooked meals can provide. As a dessert we had a cannolo (they make the pastry themselves), filled with two types of ricotta: goat and sheep, and it was one of the best cannolos we ever had. Signora Gianna was preparing everything upon order and checking from the kitchen if we were happy with the dishes. This type of succulent Sicilian food is why we come back to Sicily every year!

I just love this place we were here 3 years ago and had lunch at Gianna's. After the pandemic I am so relieved that it's still there and the couple who run it are well. It's going to be closed now for them to have a holiday but if you come some other time to Piazza Armerina then I recommend it for simple but delicious home made food. I remember before I was puzzled by some reviews which said the owners were not friendly but we found the total opposite. I think if you are nice and friendly then you will get a good welcome. . It may help I have a go at speaking Italian I think locals really appreciate that. They were really sweet and we had aubergines with parmesan it was delicious and it's no... Speisekarte ansehen
