"I am proud to find these “hole-in-the-wall” facilities. a cozy and true mum and pop shop. they can not expect great things from this place as they approach it from the front, but they would be wrong about eating and they would miss what I think is an authentic Italian experience. I knew they were closed at 6 o'clock, so I quickly went there to eat with enough time before I close. arrived at 5:25PM (on Sunday), there were local Italian families just leaving the restaurant. I took this as a good sign of local approval and authenticity. the owners seemed a little surprised to see that an American comes, or perhaps a little concerned about the proximity to the closing time. yet they welcomed me and I ordered the roasted otopus, bruschetta, pistachio ricotta tart (for dessert), and coffee. all these dishes were excellent. the sauce made the dish really with the roasted otopus. they will notice that the dessert I have chosen is not on the menu and I think they can turn through some options. I had actually asked for tiramisu, but I was informed that only the pistazit ricotta tart was available. it tasted as great as it looked. I might want the taste of a pistachio kanoli. the coffee was also excellent and in the typical Italian style and in the quantity – what we would simply call an espresso in the usa. this place seems to be really proud and is known for its seafood, so I would probably try to make a larger seafood option next time."

"Wir fragten unseren Vermieter nach einem feinen Restaurant in der Nähe. Er empfahl uns das da Donato, aber nicht für Pizzas. Wir gingen um 19h ohne Reservation und bekamen einen letzten Tisch für maximal 1 Stunde. Die Pasta mit Ragout Sauce war fein, aber zu wenig gewürzt. Meine Partnerin nahm trotzdem eine Pizza und diese war viel zu nass in der Mitte sowie mit viel zu viel Käse. Den Pfeffer und das Salz musste ich selbst holen, da meine Anfrage unbeantwortet blieb. Rotwein war fein und dass wir kein Brot bekamen störte nicht weiter. Wir reservierten für den nächsten Tag, da wir es mit der Pizza hätten wissen sollen. Bruschetta sowie Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce bei meiner Partnerin und Fleischbällchen sowie Kalbfleisch in Zitronensauce mit Zusatz Champions sowie Lattich bei mir. Die Bruschetta und die Fleischbällchen waren ok respektive fein. Die Spaghetti sehr fein und richtig gewürzt. Mein Fleisch wurde jemandem Anderen serviert. Meine Beilagen aber blieben auf dem Tisch und wurden allmählich kalt. Als dann meine Partnerin fertig war, kam mein Kalbfleisch doch. Den Lattich liess ich stehen, die Champignons ass ich vor dem Fleisch, damit es nicht kalt wurde. Die Zitronensauce war mir zu fettig und zu schwer. Immerhin brachte man uns den Pfeffer und das Salz dieses Mal umgehend. Man entschuldigte sich zweimal und offerierte uns auf Nachfrage meiner Partnerin zwei Espressos. Meine Freundin nahm einen, ich trinke keinen Espresso. Dass ich keinen Espresso annahm, goutierte der Besitzer dies mit einem Augenhochziehen. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, auch wenn es teilweise Pech war Tipp 1: Reservieren Tipp 2: Pasta und keine Pizza"
