The polpettini (meatballs) with broad bean purée were delicious, my mother had the coniglio (rabbit) which was scrumcious. I would definitely recommend ordering the orange, onion and sardines as a starter.

Vera trattoria (anzi piú che una semplice trattoria) a conduzione familiare. Cucina ottima e servizio attento, cortese e simpatico. Sicuramente da consigliare. PS il cannolo scomposto merita una posizione fuori classifica.

Very local no frills decor. Simple food done exceptionally well with really friendly service. The ravioli in meat sauce was divine washed down with a lovely recommended local wine. This was a better dining experience than some of the Michelin dinners we’ve had on this trip. Speisekarte ansehen

il miglior ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato durante le nostre vacanze in Sicilia. piatti delicati e gustosi, atmosfera familiare, posizione unica (di fronte alla chiesa di San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata). francesco ha raccomandato ottimi piatti, tutti con ingredienti freschi e ci ha abbinato un ottimo vino (vino rosso etna murgo). tutti a prezzi ottimi. imperdibile.

Our accomodation (B&B Vinci) recommended this hidden gem. Off the main drag it doesn’t look like much but it was AMAZING! The ravioli guifa was the best I’ve ever had and the honey, pistachio pork was delicious. It’s very well priced and great service friendly, helpful and even gave us free sweet wines/liqueur with dessert (hint: order the cannoli split, you won’t regret it).

We came to Giufa fairly late in the evening and without a reservation and were graciously accommodated with a table. That meant that we eventually closed the place for the night; the less positive corollary was that the bread on our table was clearly less than fresh, but I suspect I 'd be amazed if it was different for the last minute comers. The food itself was pretty good the rabbit recipe is not for everyone 's taste, while the meatballs on a beanstock got the highest marks. A deconstructed cannolo was also excellent. Great setting in front of imposing San Francesco, great people watching for those so inclined, overall very positive experience. Speisekarte ansehen
