"We just accidentally stumbled upon this trattoria in search of a place to eat. Nice location a bit off the main street so it's very quiet there. The tables are located in the back of the building, there are seats inside and there's small square with tables outside. Being covered from all the streets creates a very secluded atmosphere. There are only few people working in the restaurant, maybe only as many as four or five persons of staff. Thus service is a bit slow. Now to food. Starters and pasta were amazing. Rich sauces, flavorsome fillings, silky smooth pasta. Probably one of the best tortelli I've ever had. We were a party of four and all ordered different, everything was finger licking good. This was a promising start of dinner so we expected same quality from the main courses. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. Game that we ordered was plain and overcooked, they didn’t bother to take the small bones out as well so eating it was a complete mess. Spare pork ribs were overcooked if not cremated. It was literally problematic to separate meat from bones and hard to chew and swallow it. Extremely dry pork. The last dish that we ordered was lamb… I had no idea that you could do something like that to lamb. It was obviously beaten to the point of see-through thinness and deep fried in a thick layer of batter afterwards. It’s not only that you had to struggle to try and feel the taste of lamb in that thin layer of meet inside the batter crust but sometimes you had to really look very closely to even make sure that the meat was there at all. Certainly the dish was dry and missing at least a sauce to dip into. Certainly after such a disappointment we didn’t care to try desserts so I cannot tell anything about those. Probably if we only had pasta and starters for dinner it would have been magical and I would have probably rated it excellent but the mains were so bad that I have to rate it average. In conclusion it’s definitely a trattoria worth visiting just for pasta that is very good indeed but main courses I strongly don’t recommend."

la qualità dell'orso cantuccio è rara. Dall'antipasto, mescolato con accostamenti diversi e raffinati, alla carne, sempre fresca e deliziosa, al dessert. la qualità dei prodotti non può che conquistare chi sceglie di mangiare in questo rinomato locale.

Bella location , buono , ma il proprietario è da sorvolare.. decisamente sgarbato ma la cortesia e professionalità del cameriere di sala compensa tutto... Diciamo che se sorvoli la telefonata di prenotazione è ottimo . Non economico ma merita decisamente. Il chiostro interno top!

Excellent quality food for good price. Beautiful outdoor garden and lovely interior restaurant. Waiter is so friendly, smiles and is kind and speaks a bit of English too! Excellent antipastis, and many different types about 6. First courses excellent and steak is the best. Highly recommend to foreigners.

Io e mia moglie siamo stati a cena in questo angolo di Orbetello molto caratteristico e riservato. L’ambiente è familiare e rifinito. Il servizio è molto puntuale e ottimamente coordinato dallo chef. Il menu è semplice ma buonissimo. Consigliato l’antipasto della casa. Ho ordinato poi un filetto eccezionale di carne cotto alla perfezione. Lo raccomando sicuramente

Copious dishes for this summer evening. Several antipasti, including salmon, beef carpaccio, jacket potatoes with Gorgonzola, bruschetta with delicate, cheese fondue, ricotta dumplings. Excellent beef fillet, cooked perfectly. Quiet, pleasant atmosphere in a central Orbetello courtyard. About ten tables outside and five/six inside. Service is slow on a busy Sunday evening but always very courteous. Wine of the house 7/10. Will definitely come back to try the primi piatti.

Abbiamo mangiato bene e il giardino interno ha una bella atmosfera. I camerieri sono stati cortesi e i prezzi sono adeguati.Da segnalare però che, aspettando di essere accompagnati al tavolo, abbiamo assistito alle scortesi scenate del proprietario che probabilmente aveva avuto una brutta serata. In genere tendo a non farmi influenzare da queste esperienze per il mio giudizio, ma stavolta eravamo tentati di lasciare il locale quando il gestore, sbattendo dei piatti e lamentandosi ad alta voce, ha detto davanti a noi con parole molto maleducate che non vedeva l'ora che se ne andassero tutti i clienti.
