"We were four and had two risottos, one sallad and one salmon. The food was well nothing special. Salad was very good, but two risottos was mediorce+ and salmon was rather tasteless (also our risottos needed salt and parmesan to have flavour). The overall experience about the food was not so good compared to other wonderful places we 've been to during out trip. But then came the bill which had 16 euros extra about Seating . Luckily we read through the bill and asked about it. It was for service and bread . It turned out it was supposed to be only 2 euros per person so they fixed the mistake and it became 8 euros. We 've had nothing like this during out trip so we asked why they didn 't tell us about the fee beforehand. We would 've gladly paid for bread and olive oil (which was their own brand and rather good) if they asked about it, but this hidden fee was written on the menu, they said. It just felt dishonest and like a tourist husstle of some kind. Sure, the food was ok, but this kind of thing they tried to pull off ruined the whole experience for us. There are way better restaurants nearby so I wouldn 't recommend this one. The overall feeling was a bit touristy in general. The service was really good and nice, though!"

"Abbiamo passato una grande domenica. per partire dalla prenotazione telefonica dove prima ci è stato chiesto se abbiamo avuto il green pass (poi effettivamente controllato all'arrivo), complimenti per il rispetto delle leggi, buono! in attesa poco nonostante i molti commensali, ottimi piatti (vedi foto) e costi assolutamente contenuti rispetto alla media. Sicuramente rimangono i tataki del tonno, il merluzzo croccante e la piccola ommella. per correre."

"We arrived early to visit the nearby sculpture park, the Giardino dei Tarocchi. The restaurant was quite hard to find, tucked at the back of an inner courtyard parking lot and not well signed. It was not open for service when we arrived. Never the less we were seated and served coffee and chilled mineral water, and as soon as the kitchen was ready, our orders were taken, about 40 minutes before the scheduled opening at 1245 hrs. The menu was quite extensive, (with a convenient English language version) with the traditional central Italian cuisine and featuring wild boar (cinghiale) in a variety of dishes. We sampled the olive all 'ascolana (olives stuffed with meat, coated with bread crumbs and deep fried), a regional specialty. I had grilled young pork, (the crackling was perfect) and my wife had a very flavorsome and generous dish of grilled chicken. We added a dish of traditional Italian grilled vegetables (egg plant, peppers and zucchini) and some delightful French fries (cooked in very clean and sweet oil) for a very satisfying and tasty lunch. Finally we were tempted by Crema Catalana , the Catalan version of creme brulee. The flan mix was covered with a generous layer of raw sugar, doused with a liquor I didn 't identify, then set on fire at our table, where it happily burned for about five minutes, caramelizing the sugar topping. The single serving was more than enough for two! Altogether a delightful experience. This is the type of restaurant I always seek, but so often I am disappointed to end up in a crass ersatz tourist trap. Not this time. The service was polite and prompt. Everything was very tasty. The variety was impressive, the components fresh and appealing, the presentation unpretentious. This is the real thing, you feel you are eating in Momma 's farm kitchen. Not fine dining, but the best of country cuisine in an homely setting. Select your meal carefully and take your time. I wish I had an excuse to go back there."

"Una gestione nuova, sono qui dal 2022, e certamente meglio di quella che nel 2015 mi aveva suggerito che non era più il caso di frequentare questo locale, ancora di bella presenza. La valutazione è peraltro adesso penalizzata da un servizio disattento, a cominciare dal ricco antipasto della casa portato in tavola frettolosamente, senza nessun commento sulla sua composizione, per continuare con una pausa assolutamente esagerata tra antipasto e primo, il ragazzo ai tavoli poi ha visto che mi è caduto il coltello ma per la sostituzione dopo un po’ mi son dovuto alzare io e chiederlo in cucina, infine posate che anch’io, come in altra recensione, ho notato non proprio di buona pulizia. Peccato, perché la cucina è decisamente buona, più laziale che toscana (la gestora&cuoca è di Civitavecchia), con porzioni anche generose, e un conto medio, sebbene con discreti ricarichi per la cantina, il morellino 2020 della Morisfarms, infatti, lo si paga 24€."

"Cenato, serata partita in salita, arrivati ci ha accolto un soggetto in camicia che probabilmente non sapeva cosa ci faceva lì, io ho salutato come sempre e ho detto che avevo una prenotazione, lui ....io non so e forse il tavolo non è pronto ! Fortunatamente arriva una cameriera molto giovane gentile e professionale e ci fa accompagnare al nostro tavolo ,ci lascia e arriva un altra cameriera che si avvicina al mio tavolo senza salutare dice acqua? Io cosa ? lei scocciata acqua gassata o naturale! Nel frattempo dietro di noi avevamo aperto i recinti e una quindicina di persone facevano un baccano infernale tale da non riuscire nemmeno a conversare . Consumato piatti tipici locali molto buoni alla fine scendiamo all ingresso e trovo il solito soggetto in camicia, gli chiedo il conto ...la sua risposta e stata boh in che ne so del conto ! non ho io il conto! Ristorante promosso per il cibo , per il resto assolutamente bocciato. Non consigliato. Un lode particolare alla cameriera giovane ."
