You 'd never stop at this place if you were passing through this little village. A single lace covered glass door with an unpretentious 'Osteria ' is all you get to entice you in. But don 't be put off, open the door, climb the stairs and enter the the simple dinning room with its walls covered with the owners grandfathers cups, photos and medals from his time as a Hand ball athlete. The food is very simple but utterly delicious. In fact my favourite course was a bowl of courgettes and carrots. Mollo è una garanzia! Conosciamo da anni questa trattoria, anche se non vicina a dove abitiamo, ma appena possibile portiamo parenti o amici ad assaggiare la vera cucina piemontese. Il locale è pieno di storia e cultura con stampe e pezzi d'arredamento originali dell'epoca passata. I proprietari sono sempre gentili, sorridenti e ti accolgono con passione per il loro lavoro. La cucina è km il pane, i primi, i sughi, il vino, gli insaccati, le frittelle... qualsiasi cosa è fatta a mano nella trattoria! i secondi di selvaggina sono spettacolari! Torresina is a very small village in the Alte Langhe region of Italy 's north west Piemonte. Piemonte means at the foot of the mountains in the case of Torresina, those mountains are the Alpes Maritimes, 20 or so kilometres away. This very attractive area has been discovered by Germans and Dutch retirees who have bought houses throughout this area. Trattoria Mollo was originally recommended to us by the helpful ladies at the Salotto del Turista in Alba and we are eternally grateful for this recommendation. Trattoria Mollo seems to be the only commercial enterprise in Torresina which is located in a rich agricultural district. It is family owned and run and has been for several generations. E...
