"We atrived at the TrendBurger at 6pm, and despite the information on TripAdvisor saying they were open all day, they were still close. After being turned away at Creperie Roland down the street, we decided to give it another shot. We were welcomed quickly by a very polite and friendly waiter then, and seated outside. I could feel a smell of overcooked fried food and had kind of a bad feeling about eating here at that point, but shrugged it off and we went off to order. Both of us ordered the Mountain burger with bacon and Reblochon cheese and a coke. We also ordered a portion of what we thought were onion rings on the side. Our coke was not cold, it was 30 degrees outside, and not a single block of ice on our cups. Seeing how cold the beer served to the table on our right was, I knew I'd made a mistake :) We also smelled something burning in the kitchen...The food came pretty fast, about 10-15 minutes. When it arrived I was very confused about the fries, they looked very greasy and a dark shade of brown/green, not exacly what you'd expect, but oh well. The onion hash browns (no, they were not onion rings) arrived, and we instantly knew what had burned at the kitchen, that was it.Shrugging everything off since we were already eating burgers in France (don't. ever. eat. burgers. IN FRANCE!), I dug into my burger. So here's my review of the food:- Burger: On the first bite, I could feel the grease sliding off from the sides of my mouth. The bacon was severely undercooked, and not crispy at all, it was sort of stringy. The patty itself felt somewhat tough and chunky - probably due to very low quality cuts being used to make it. The bun was okay, but the whole thing was falling apart from all the grease. Didn't manage to drag myself to finish it, my liver told me to stop before it gave up on functioning.- Fries: WORST FRIES EVER! I've eaten fries in several parts of the world, and these were definitely the worst fries I've ever had. They were really greasy, they tasted of burnt oil (even came with burnt bits of other things on top of them), and were kind of waxy on the inside. Just gross.- Onion hash browns: BURNED to a char. They were super bitter, and really greasy. Couldn't drag myself to eat more than one.In the end we basically ate until we were no longer hungry, left the rest there, and walked back to the car wondering where else in Rouen would've been a better place to eat. We concluded anywhere else would be better."
