Tron Bar & Kitchen - Speisekarte

Staff are friendly and helpful, we had 3 plates of food for £15, they are not small plates and all were very tasty. Drinks aren’t over expensive either.

Following a show at the Tron we thoroughly enjoyed a meal in the Tron Bar and Kitchen. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back.

We were looking for a quick bite before heading to gig at the Barrowlands. Kitchen was about to close but friendly bar staff got us sorted out! Great small plates menu. Very good value for the quality! Speisekarte ansehen

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and helpful, making it a convenient spot for drinks before heading to the theater. The bar is actually larger than it appears, with plenty of seating in the back.

Came in here on a Sunday afternoon intending to get a late lunch, instead I left after one coffee. The staff insisted on playing highly aggressive funk at an unreasonable volume. This was very much not background music. It made it impossible to concentrate on anything else. Absolute disgrace.

The redesign of the Tron Bar was a disaster. The lack of seating and uncomfortable atmosphere shame the beauty of the old bar. We decided to leave and go elsewhere before the show. Don't bother wasting your time. The Tron Bar needs funding to stay open, so they should bring back the old bar and draw people back in. Speisekarte ansehen

Visiting the Tron bar for lunch for the first time in a few months we found that the menu had shrunk . They now only offer soup (1 variety) and bread pizzas from a local Italian restaurant. On the day we visited, only one of the 3 pizza toppings was available, so we just ordered the soup. Service was extremely slow, and when the soup eventually arrived it was tasty but lukewarm at best. Very disappointed.

I used to frequent the Tron with the kids going to theatre group workshops and haven’t been for ages. Glad we went back the burger was a treat and my Caesar salad starter was absolutely perfect! The smoked chicken was so tasty!! Nice to see some friendly staff still there and still remembered me which was nice . Seemingly the new manager is talking about refurbishment so I’ll need to keep going to see what they will do with the place . Always a warm welcome and lovely delicious lunch was a treat . Keep up the good work Tron I’ll be back .

The fries should be crispy and hot, not cold, pale, and soft. The mac and cheese was very heavy. The fish dish, which I can't recall the name of, was completely flavorless. We were surprised to find out it was served cold. The beetroot and goat cheese dish was okay but nothing special. Condiments were not offered with the fries automatically. The online menu we had seen from Tron looked promising, but it turned out to not be available. There were no dessert options on the menu, only unappetizing cakes.
