Riverside - Speisekarte

This place has amazing cakes and bakes. And the menu is full of choices. Lovely staff, very hard working. I love going there with my girls.

We called in late afternoon and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dogs are allowed inside and lovely hot drinks to warm us up. The cakes were all homemade and delicious. Will definitely call in again.

We informed the café that our cycling club was coming to visit. The staff ensured that there was a reserved area for us that was very comfortable, and the service was excellent. The food was exceptional, and we want to thank all the staff who took care of us on February 25th. Speisekarte ansehen

Wow!! Just left this great restaurant after a lovely walk in the sunshine along the banks of the Tyne. It’s clean and tidy, the staff very helpful and friendly, the cafe is also dog friendly. As for the food you will go a long way to better it for value for money (see photos). Hope to visit again before going home to Shropshire.

Wonderful cafe along cycle route 72, with friendly and enthusiastic staff. They serve delicious homemade cakes and generously filled sandwiches with fresh side salads. Highly recommended for replenishing calories burned while cycling or walking to the cafe. Just a warning, if you arrive by car, this meal may be your calorie intake for the entire day.

I'm a bit of a regular to this cafe, Kerry and the team do an amazing job. On a weekend they are really busy with parkrunners on the Saturday and Sunday, feeding hoards of hungry runners, also walkers and cyclists. The scones are HUGE and delish! Hands down the best NCC run park cafe, the cakes are amazing. My dog Dave loves it here, his favourite food stop! Speisekarte ansehen

I recently visited this cafe and was blown away by their incredible variety of sweet treats. With so many options to choose from, I was spoiled for choice. The staff at the cafe were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I even saw someone enjoying a delicious breakfast and I can't wait to go back and try it myself. Overall, a lovely place with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We stopped here for coffee during our coast-to-coast cycle ride in June. We only ordered 3 coffees, 1 x latte, 2 x black Americano and the young girl managed to get them wrong !! We got milk in all 3 and we had to take the 2 Americano back and get them remade because of a dairy intolerance. Lack of attention and interest, we won’t bother calling here again when if we’re out that way.

What a gem of a place. The riverside park is absolutely beautiful, wonderful walks and access to the stunning Tyne The cafe is worth a visit at the start of your visit and again at the end We were staying just across the river in Ovingham so just a short walk across the bridge to Tyne Riverside park The cakes and bakes are fantastic we also tried the breakfast which was excellent All the staff were very friendly.
