Worst food I have ever eaten. I see people queuing out the door of this establishment all the time and they must be missing any discernment. Soggy, greasy batter, dry flaky fish and the chips were terrible. Avoid at all costs. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

If you are around Par then having a Val's is highly recommended. As vegetarians their vegetarian burgers are really good. The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly. They took our order while we were waiting in line, which was a great idea. I ordered the regular chips and a small cod, both of which were delicious and a good size. The kids' portion was also generous and perfect for our youngest child. The food came in a convenient box, making it easy to enjoy on the beach. It was exactly what we wanted to celebrate our day. The shandy bass was also a delightful surprise. I would highly recommend Val's Place to others.
