The food at this family-owned restaurant is exceptional and the service is top-notch. This is truly the best pizza I have ever had, and I have tried many pizza places in NYC, Brooklyn, and beyond. Found this wee restaurant more by accident than design. Friendly welcome from staff service was good menu was simple but some good choices. The food was well prepared and very tasty I think it would help the restaurant if they were to do a wee bit of basic decoration and possibly replace the furnishings but, overall a very enjoyable meal

Veloce is mainly a takeaway but has a few tables in the back. They don't have a huge menu but what they offer is simple but good. Cost is a lot cheaper than many higher end Italian restaurants but the food is better than most Italians I've tried. Sure it's probably not a first date sort of restaurant but if you want great value, tasty quality food then you won't go far wrong.

I ordered 2 pastas from this restaurant through Deliveroo today, paying £14-something, and honestly, both dishes ended up in the trash. The smell and taste were absolutely revolting. Perhaps they should use fresh cream because the pasta tasted terrible, like it was stinking of old smelly socks. The portions were okay, but that's about the only positive thing I can say. As someone with wheat and dairy intolerances, it's often challenging to find a satisfying pizza to-go. However, this restaurant makes it easy by allowing you to customize your toppings. Their gluten-free dough is the best I've had at a take-out place, with a texture that actually resembles a pizza base, unlike others that can taste like cardboard. The customer service is excellent, with a very Italian touch. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed in a hotel just around the corner and we decide to have a meal here, we do like italian food(what can go wrong?)and they had good prices. And it was the best choice! The place was cozy, tidy, the food was great with a great selection. But the most we liked the owner who served us, very welcoming and friendly! We decided to go back later on after our day out in the city for a nice pasta,and for some dolce because they just looks so tasty!

This restaurant doesn’t look much from the outside, but boy it definitely delivers with the food. We started with arancini and bruschetta. Initially confused why there was a (1) next to the arancini on the menu, but when it came out about the size of a large orange, (1) was more than enough for a starter. Accompanied but a really nice tomato sauce and some salad began well. The bruschetta was good enough but not really anything special, some tomatoes and oil on the bread. The mains were delicious however. The pasta had by two members of our party (different dishes) had really lovely sauces, both very tasty and fully flavoured.
