"The food was decent, but the waiter was quite abrupt and overly persistent when taking our order. He seemed unhappy and, when explaining the appetizer to my friend, spoke to me in a condescending manner. As a 30-year-old woman, I found it inappropriate for him to suggest that he could stop talking because he was explaining it to my friend. Overall, the vibe was off, and I won't be returning."

The atmosphere at Orpington was fantastic. The food was authentic, delicious, and offered great value for money. The wine was reasonably priced as well. The service was friendly and helpful, and I would highly recommend this place. We even received a lovely doggy bag to take home!

The Vibe in Orpington was a fantastic discovery. The food is authentic, delicious, and offers great value for money. The wine was also very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and attentive, and I would definitely recommend it. We even received a lovely doggy bag to take home!

"Wonderful place, the staff are attentive, professional, courteous, and caring. You will not find better cafe service, and there is a happy, easy and relaxed atmosphere even the staff give off the feeling that they are happy to be there. The music is varied and ambient enough to provide an unintrusive background. The cafe itself is stylish, clean, and sectioned carefully to cater to multiple types of customer at once without overlap. "Great, in fact fantastic food. The restaurant had a very casual and relaxing feel to it, which I liked. The decor is a bit cheesy but that's the nature of the beast. Apart from us there were over 20 other patrons, all Chinese. Obviously you feel reassured of food quality if actual Chinese people are frequenting the restaurant and having a good time. If I had to picky, I'd say the main waiter, with the ear ring!, needs to cheer up a little. At least look like you enjoy the job mate...."

"Came here with my husband and we went straight into mains: biryani, goat curry, paneer, potato, dhal and a kulcha to share. Dessert was chocolate fondant and carrot pudding(halwa). Food was excellent and we polished the lot! Our only gripe the bread was a bit oily on the surface. My husbands favourite was the goat curry, mine the carrot pudding. At first look portions seem small but by the end of it we could hardly move. Staff were polite and attentive. Service well paced. At £90 altogether which included a cocktail and one soft drink it’s not a cheap night out, but a treat you would want to repeat. Thank you for a lovely evening."

"Where do I start... I 'm going to be really honest, this was my first and last time here. First off we were promised a live music which turned out to be more on the lines of mumbling some lines. The atmosphere was drab and non existent. The food was cold and tasteless. Most of my friends that went (12+ we couldn 't finish our meals as meat was uncooked and carbs (rice chips were still frozen. We paid £30pp for a belly dancer, live music and a set menu, which is fair enough. The belly dancer was outstanding as always and was entertaining. Couldn 't say the same about the service and fixtures. We asked for water a number of times and was then presented with a plastic water bottle which wasn 't very clean with tap water and was told to share this across the table. We were not impressed. The reason for this was they had run out of jugs (btw no-one had jugs or food for that matter. Timely delivery of food, didn 't exist. We got to the restaurant at 19:30, we had some drinks caught up ordered. Starters came out at 20:50. We then entertained by shouting in the kitchen and what seemed to be a disagreement between all staff, other diners at this point started walking out without eating anything as they had waited so long. Then at 21:57 we were graced with our main meal which was half hot half cold. Rice was pretty much frozen, meat was hot but as mentioned before, some was uncooked. Not too mention the smallest lime in my 'strawberry daiquiri ' which has literally no taste. We you can tell from the pictures these were not happy customers a lot of food was left... Yes a plastic container for my sweet and sour sauce instead of the promised aioli sauce. Bearing on mine the whole time we sat with our coats and scarves on as the AC was turned up so high our hands were turning blue. In conclusion, if you want to pay through the nose for cold, uncooked and unfriendly stay them please come enjoy (sarcasm ."
