Lovely staff- incredibly accommodating for our group!!! Can’t fault them. Fab food and large home cooked portions. Staff also helpful with information on surrounding area and taxi details.

Beat those Covid blues a take away Sunday lunch from the Victoria. Ready spot on time fresh and crispy home made veg, roasts, Yorkshire puds and plenty of tender roast beef and gravy. Served piping hot! They do takeaways midweek as well.

Although not a huge choice of food on the menu the food was very delicious and not too pricey. I had the mushroom stroganoff and the sauce was super yummy! My partner had the sweet and sour chicken which was also very tasty and his...portion was huge! Staff are very friendly and service was very quick.

we stopped in the victoria on the way back from a day to the race. honored by the employees with a warm and friendly smile. eating was fantastic quality and worth. eating is freshly cooked and tastes fantastic. can not recommend this location enough. don't think they'll get to eat quickly. it's like getting the money.

No Aires or graces this is a nice traditional country pub serving proper food nicely cooked. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The toilets are clean, the tiles are definitely the original 1970's classics If you want over the top posh this isn't for...you, but if you want lovely food in a friendly clean pub then this is the place to go. Very impressed.

we went to this pub as we were in the local opposite and we are not disappointed! it was full of natives who all very welcoming and enjoyed meeting our border colony, meg! the food was excellent and very good value! I enjoyed it too. a brilliant real ale that was crystal clear and fresh. if we were in the opposite for longer, we would definitely come back! brilliant evening!

The best pub we've been in for years! the personal is super friendly and attentive. we really received our big party for 3 days, would not have asked. there is a lot of drinks both soft and alcoholic, including non-alcoholic. beer prizes are fantastic! dinner in the evening and dinner in the evening, both amazing as well as quality and worth money. we will definitely come back!

Thank you The Victoria Inn for making a very sad day bearable. We visited yesterday for a very dear friend's wake and were treated so kindly and professionally by all the staff. The food was fresh and plentiful, service quick and staff so obliging. It...can't have been easy but you would have never known. Good luck to you all for the summer and beyond, we hope to see you again.

Decided to eat out this xmas with the family, arrived at the Victoria Free drink straight away (my round then shsss) ,we ordered our meals (set menu more or less) but that didn't matter as we are all traditional meal lovers, it was a beauty...and if you wanted extra I think there was plenty to go around. The staff were friendly and added to the atmosphere a great day out. Now back home no washing up and a sofa with my name on it and not even an argument all day.
