Had a lovely time and food was great! So impressed going back again with 16 others for my birthday

today for lunch. good welcome good beer and good food. the weather was terrible, it is february so the open fire was very appreciated

stopped from yesterday after a 200 mike trip to get a home mobile, eating nice portion sizes tasty staff were friendly they even gave my buddy, which recommended an absolute ganet some extra chips

This traditional pub is a hidden gem with friendly staff and excellent food. The homemade sauces were delicious, and the mushroom pot starter was divine. I will definitely be returning as it offers great value for delicious food.

Visited with family for lunch , pleasant experience with delicious home made food and very large portions with friendly service nothing was to much to cater for . Good options for vegetarian meals and very delicious desserts. We will visit again !

as a family we have visited this pub for all different occasions. not even we had a bad meal, every time the food is delicious and spot on. it is quite expensive, atmosphere, personal and peculiarities are all beautiful. especially dawn, when she makes me the best banoffee pie ever! very welcoming and friendly, but I would advise the booking as it is constantly busy.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the haddock in beer batter, chips, and peas. The fish was fresh with a light, non-greasy batter, and the chips were homemade, which is rare to find these days. The friendly lady behind the bar made us feel very welcome. The restaurant also has a nice beer garden surrounded by walls. The home-cooked food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning.

my wife and my own were in the caravan park in our own touring car behind the car and horses hospitable at the bank weekend in the august 2015 (we were there for a high time near shepton mallet) we were traveled by liverpool, I can only say that we ate every night in the pub and found the food to be delicious the owners mike and dawn were very welcome. the staff was very friendly. infact was the whole stay wonderful. the car park is by far one of the best places we have stayed at. all about it is on .great position .wonderful views. a really relaxing place to stay and the attractions of somerset by we will definitely visit there in 2016

My partner and I were traveling across the country and decided to stop at this restaurant on our way to a hotel in Cheddar Gorge. We were impressed with the delicious homecooked food, excellent quality, and generous portions. I ordered the salmon fillet, which was fantastic, and my partner tried the homemade faggots, which were the best they had ever tasted. The staff were friendly, polite, and took the time to chat with us. We enjoyed our meal so much that we decided to stop by again on our way back home, and were pleased to find the same great quality and service.
