I love this wee place, cakes are amazing, coffee is amazing, and best of all the savoury food is amazing too. But the popcorn salted caramel slices are to die for

We've bought cake from here in the past which was delicious-such good home baking. But today I was given a tiny slice of stale shop (Co-op) bought cake for £2 a slice. I could have got the whole cake for that. So disappointing. The soup...is awful too. Speisekarte ansehen

A stylish stop-off right near the New Vic hospital and Langside college. Good coffee, a great range of real home-made cakes (not goo-ey things from cellophane wrappers) and staff who were happy to tweak the menu items to suit a patient in the hospital. Much...appreciated.

What an absolute wee gem of a place . Straight from the warm friendly hello as we entered until the cheery goodbye the staff here was polite , friendly and efficient. Although only a cuppa and hot snack the presentation and side salad was excellent....Would be more than happy to return here and also more than happy to recommend it to others..

Wanamoka is one of my fave cafes in the South Side. I live in Shawlands but its worth the nice walk to battlefield for their wraps/paninis/baguettes etc. I find the quality of the meats better than most cafes and the filling choices are varied and...fresh. Very good value for money too! They also make lots of interesting cakes to try. Skip the chains and try here for a much tastier, healthier and cheaper cafe lunch! Speisekarte ansehen

We are blessed to have lots of new cafes in Battlefield and unfortunately Wanamoke (I think having been open for some time) disappoints. We did only stop in for some hot drinks to take away, the service was particularly slow, despite there not being anyone...else in. The coffee also was particularly bad, extremely bitter and non drinkable which is a shame. Although the staff were lovely I have yet to return given the other good coffee available close by.

excellent does not do justice to this place! very friendly helpful staff who walk away to make sure they are happy. saw one and had bagel with speck, sausage and hollandaise sauce. the children had slippers that came with a magnificent side of scratches and salat. Coffee. and hot chocolate has also not disappointed, coffee with zimt added and beat chocolate with cream and marshmallows are the small tweets that work well. in any case will return and certainly recommend.

I would like to begin by saying that I had the fajita wrap from here, and it was delightful therefore the reason for more than 1 star and I wish I had left a good rating for them instead of in a bad one. an about this experience. I'm sorry for this, but I'm humorously shocked and can't stop laughing every time I open the container. I'm sorry that I usually give good critiks, but I feel that this is a fyre festival conspiracy and I can't help feeling personal sacrifice after I have put an annoying request on avocado that they are not like the even most awesome I am. all in all, I would probably think to go back because they are pleasant staff to avoid the bagels from now on.
