White Horse - Speisekarte

The best meal I have had this year. Plus the venue and service was brilliant. Being a real beer drinker I really appreciated the first class beer as well. Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Top marks

We went out today with our family and friends. We all had different on the menu and we were not disappointed. Food was superb!! Plates were hot, food was divine and good size!, bar staff were great and beer selection was good. What a hidden...gem in the countryside. Worth a visit

Brilliant night food, atmosphere staff were all amazing will definitely return for another NYE! Could not recommend highly enough. Visited previously just for food and that was excellent as well, so glad to have such a good pub so close. Staff are always...friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were staying at the badwell ash lodges and decided to visit the pub on new years eve. Pub was operating a special street food evening which was really good. Staff were very friendly and worked extremely hard on a busy night. Drinks were not...overly expensive and a good range of beers, wines and spirits. Great atmosphere with a live band. Would return.

We had a brilliant night for NYE. The music, atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was street food available inside or outside by fire pits, the chefs cooked up a storm and served some delicious food with plenty of...choice. Again extremely friendly and warm service. I’d happily celebrate another New Year here and we definitely will return to try their highly recommended Sunday roasts.

I popped into this beautiful establishment today (Sunday for a Sunday Roast and I honestly cannot recommend the White Horse in Badwell Ash enough. The best Sunday Roast I have had, no joke! Literally I could not fault it at all! The chicken wonderfully...flavoursome and the roasted vegetables topping it off a treat. The beer sublime and to top it off super friendly staff who provided service. Could not recommend it enough. Cheers guys! Speisekarte ansehen

The inside of this place is lovely, very stylish and well thought out. I ate with a group of friends and we had a lovely waitress. However was somewhat surprised when our main courses came out in plastic baskets as if it was a fast...food restaurant. It’s not a fast food restaurant, it’s far better than that and personally I think the food should be served on a proper plate. What we had was lovely. Truffle chips were amazing. Good puds too which are served on proper crockery.

Disappointing we were here staying at badwell lodges we are excellent so just up the road from the Whitehorse so thought we would go for a Sunday roast .we arrived and we’re quickly seated and order taken we both decided to have a pork roast...the food came out minutes later which was beautifuly presented but the pork was all fat the roast potatoes were good and so was the parsnips and the stuffing the broccoli was char grilled but was rock hard the Yorkshire pudding was a puff ball and tasting of nothing and the gravy was too thick and not worth shall not be retuning

Stopped here for Sunday lunch today. The White Horse was welcoming and quickly showed us to our table in the renovated stable area. Unfortunately the room was extremely cold even with my coat buttoned. On asking the waitress who was incidentally dressed in a...body warmer and had woollen gloves on) if there was any heating I was advised yes and that she would turn it up. We had ordered two turkey roasts and these were served to us minutes later….teeth chattering I couldn’t wait to tuck in. The meal was presented beautifully stacked however I could clearly see the gravy was setting and on my first bite I realised my meal was barely luke warm.
