Called in for tea with family, great little pub, brilliant staff and amazing food. 100% recommend

Good atmosphere and selection of drinks, did menu available and parking to the rear, beer garden at the front

Had bottomless brunch. Was really good, drinks served quickly. Friendly servers. Food came quick as well and was really nice. Amazing 10/10, will be back

great pub, personal friendly, nothing is too much annoying, good choice of beer and eating is excellent! we had two steaks, medium and well done, both were absolutely recommended on the place!

beautiful traditional pub with cozy vibes. different seating areas for small and larger groups and some outside seats. eat when the chef is not sick. the staff are friendly, no complaining don't accept any food in this visit. Speisekarte ansehen

a tasty place we only discovered after we were 10 minutes away in the last 22 years! one of the pulsating number of genuine traditional pubs, friendly service, a series of well maintained real ales and a decent menu. we will see much more!

I am not local to the willowbank but occasionally call in. I think the last time I was in there was during the Christmas lockdown releif... I have called in tonight and the welcome and service I got from the young barman Charlie was fantastic. As our drinks got low he was straight to the table eager to refill our glasses. My mate is a real ale geek and Charlie was recommending ales from a lad that look like he drinks blue wicked... His recommendations where spot on. He certainly knows his stuff and is attentive, pleasant and clearly an asset to the pub. Val the licencee was lovely too... In fact all the staff where great... Lovely to be made to feel so welcome as a non-regular by all the sta...

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping down Smithdown Road when we decided to drop into The Willow Bank Tavern, a great pub I always look forward to visiting. I love the look of this pub ,its a proper pub, multi roomed ,many original features remain ,great decor and furnishings including a superb looking wooden island style serving bar, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Smithdown Road. We were here on a Friday afternoon, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table were we ordered a guinness each, guinness was poured in the correct manner even all...
