"Visited last month whilst staying in the area and we had some lovely food. I was looking for a good fish and chip shop and saw that this one was nearby and had good reviews so thought we would give it a go and it did not disappoint! Best fish and chips we all said we have ever had. (The chips do look a bit pale as previous reviewers have mentioned) but they tasted great! We enjoyed it so much we had to go back again for more before leaving our holiday. Best fish and chips I've ever had! Yes there is a queue and you have to wait but what do you want them to do? Leave it all going soggy in the warmer? I'd rather wait for 10 minutes and have the quality of food that this place makes! "We could not fault our visit on the Friday night, the food was great and arrived sooner than expected, the staff were attentive and friendly especially the blond lady behind the bar. Sadly on the Saturday evening due to who we can only assume to...be the owner being front of house our visit was very different! We were asked by one of the other members of staff to place our order at so they could squeeze it in before a booking at which we did although the presumed owner wasn't keen to take the order as just before we ordered some people clearly friends and family turned and she was more interested in getting outside to personally take their order. So we waited over mins for an order that would take no more than mins to cook, and to our surprise the family/friends got their food with still no sign of ours! When my husband questioned where our food was he was told that she (presumed owner) had accidentally put our order at the wrong end of queue! Amazingly it then turned up within mins and I have to say was very tasty! It seems she would rather give priority to people not paying full than customers that are. Such a same as this could be a really nice place to eat even with the limited menu they have at moment."

"We visited the Foundry Arms tonight while staying nearby for a few nights. I called around 3:30 PM, and they were able to accommodate us with a table for four at 6 PM. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly! The food was delicious, and my daughter actually finished everything on her plate, which is quite rare! The service was prompt, and our main waitress was exceptionally friendly. The pub had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely return if we're in the area again. Thank you for having us! x"

"We had a lovely meal here. Spiced belly pork with a tabbouleh salad and ham egg and chips. Both meals delicious. The crispy hens egg was gorgeous a soft boiled egg with a coating Waiter friendly and obliging. The food is quality over quantity but enough to satisfy, such delicious flavours and value for the type of food served. The meals are cooked to order so don 't expect 'fast food '. The desserts were sundaes of combinations we 'd not come across before and were lovely. Would love to go there again on our next visit to Cromer."

"A feel good friendly place to eat. My wife and I visited for a coffee and decided to have something to eat. My wife chose crab sandwiches which are caught locally and I decided on a cheese and ham panini as I'm not a fan of crab. My wife offered me a bite of her sandwich and wow I'm a convert of Cromer crab sandwiches. They were amazing and had so much flavour. The owner came out and asked if all was ok. My wife explained that I wasn't a fan of crab until I had a bite of her sandwich. I explained that my experience of crab was as crab sticks when she informed me that actually there is no crab in crab sticks. We will be returning in the next couple of days and I will definitely be having the crab sandwiches. I should say that they do breakfast and many other meals. Well worth a visit and so helpful. Thank you."
