Wok Spice - Speisekarte

I never leave reviews but this deserves one. Hands down the nicest, freshest Chinese food we have ever eaten. We all agreed it was delicious. Fantastic food!

We had a meal delivered to our rented caravan in Elie and we all enjoyed it. This was not the first time we've ordered from them, and once again we were impressed with the delicious food and quick delivery.

Needed a quick fix, as we were on a self catering short break. Starters were passable, but mains were watery runny, with very little substance. If you have more time, pass this one by as there must be better Chinese takeaway establishments in the area... Speisekarte ansehen

This is my first negative review, but it is well deserved! I bought takeout on Monday evening and it was terrible. The sweet and sour chicken was bland and hardly edible. The chicken and cashew nuts ended up in the trash! The chicken was mushy and gross! I was extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately, I did not read reviews before getting takeaway from this restaurant. The ribs were okay, but the chicken and prawn Tom Yum, which is supposed to be a Thai soup-like dish, was a mix of tasteless, overcooked prawns and slimy, rubbery chicken that was inedible. I tried all the pieces, but had to spit them all out. This was simply the worst food experience of my life.

Glad to see this place is open again after being closed for family bereavement. Food delicious (lemon chicken, fried rice and Singapore chow mein) as always. We ordered ahead and collected this time as we knew it would be busy. I like how the kitchen is open and you can see your food being prepared in front of you and staff are always friendly. Picked up a takeaway today. Barbecue sauce on ribs was an almost black thick and greasy, no barbecue flavour what so ever, both ribs and sauce very salty. My main went in bin, grey beef in an indescribable sauce, nothing like the Peking it was meant to be. His was like mine, bland and uninspiring! What a waste of £23. Drive on past this place and spend your money on something decent! Marked it a one only because I couldn't give it zero.

Went here whilst holidaying locally. Ordered BBQ ribs and Special Chow mein. Chow Mein was poor. What appeared to be a big dollop of egg White on top. The sauce was extremely salty and the noodles overdone. Still edible though. The ribs on the other hand... Over cooked and smothered in a strange black sauce that looked like old engine oil and wasn't far off in taste either. Bitter, burnt and neither sweet, savoury or salty but just nasty. To be avoided

I would give this a zero if I could Spring Roll, stodgy mess of beansprouts a single hard prawn being the only other ingredient BBQ Ribs disgusting over cooked and inedible meat in a sauce that looked and tasted burnt. Lemon Chicken, hard to mess up so it was passable. Chicken green pepper in blackbean sauce, watery and flavourless Fried rice, flavourless For £31 including delivery we feel robbed and properly ripped off. Dont waste your money.
