Y Cwrt - Speisekarte

We stumbled upon this place and we’re pleasantly surprised. We had delicious veggie lasagna and the kids enjoyed their pizza. The manager/ chef was also very chatty and welcoming.

We walked off the street into this restaurant. Staff were great and very attentive. Food was great and nice size portions. Was reasonably priced, drinks a little dear. Would come here again!

Oh dear. Beer was awful, tried to change but no other options were available. We’d ordered food but on witnessing what was served to other patrons (and their facial expressions), we thought ‘time to leave’. It looks lovely, but don’t be fooled. Absolutely loved this place. Delicious pizza, and the best part is the amazing staff; the waiting on staff were wonderful; efficient, professional and so friendly and warm. The owner also served our food and is clearly a very lovely person; kind to his staff and so welcoming. The Palestinian flags made us choose this place and we were so glad we did :

Amazing food, we had pizza and pasta. Amazing quality and taste. The peroni on draught was beautiful. Good to see young staff being given the opportunities they deserve. We enjoyed the relaxed covid rules, as a family we believe they are ridiculous and not needed, so it was nice to have a taste of our former life. Cash only is not problem at all as there’s a cash point right outside the door. Highly recommend this place.

A very weird set up. A very young looking lad arranging tables and one other lad taking orders, dressed in a SPAR hoody. Food took over an hour to arrive. Pizza was one of the worst I have ever had, daughter spaghetti bolganse was floating in oil. I would not recommend this place at all. A table of 10 arrive just as we were ready to go and had to go to the bar to ask if they could come and take there order, bet they were in for a long wait. Speisekarte ansehen

We would not return here. Poor service waitresses very slow, not welcoming, generally completely graceless. Food was mostly fine garlic mushrooms very tasty, lasagne was good. But desserts let it down, ice cream seemed to have been melted and refrozen judging by ice crystals and something seriously wrong with the base of the summer fruit crumble, which tasted and smelled like vomit. Staff seemed quite uninterested and no apology though they did (at my request) remove it from the bill. There are much better places to eat in Bala.

Let's start on a positive. The waiter welcomed us, quickly seated us and took our drink order. He was friendly and polite. He was working alone and welcomed all of the customers in the same timely and friendly manner. The venue is lovely and on appearance we assumed it was going to be good. What a shame then, that this restaurant uses pre made bases for their pizzas. The toppings were fine but the perfectly shaped, very plain bases really let it down. It was fairly cheap, but such a simple change could make this a place to recommend.

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years but since moving to this venue the food standard has dropped and the service is chaotic at best. We thought we would give it one more go as havent been in a while but we wont be rushing back. The young girl who served us, as nice as she was, was hopeless. We ordered some hummus and dough balls to start, I had to ask after 40 minutes whether they were ever coming and when they did, it was the wrong starter. My meal arrived 10 minutes before everyone elses and again,I had to prompt them for the other meals.
