Weird place food odd, chilli with a tonne of chilli power on it …. Ran out of all draught beer …. I would avoid at all costs feel sorry for the waiting staff

We visited on a Sunday night. Unfortunately we were the only customers in the restaurant although the takeaway side appeared busy. The waitress who looked after us was lovely. We had 2 starters, 2 large glasses of malbec (delicious) and 2 pizzas. The bill was a very reasonable £46. We will eat there again when we are next in Bala.

Absolutely loved this place. Delicious pizza, and the best part is the amazing staff; the waiting on staff were wonderful; efficient, professional and so friendly and warm. The owner also served our food and is clearly a very lovely person; kind to his staff and so welcoming. The Palestinian flags made us choose this place and we were so glad we did :

Very poor quality of meals unlike the other places we visited in Bala. Wouldn’t go there again. Only good thing was the waitress who was polite. The chef needs to stick to their day job. The whole restaurant was so hot that the waitress had to get us some menus to waft in our faces. Quote from one of the customers “the food was absolutely disgusting”. We aren’t picky so this is saying something. Congealed pasta isn’t a good vibe.

A very weird set up. A very young looking lad arranging tables and one other lad taking orders, dressed in a SPAR hoody. Food took over an hour to arrive. Pizza was one of the worst I have ever had, daughter spaghetti bolganse was floating in oil. I would not recommend this place at all. A table of 10 arrive just as we were ready to go and had to go to the bar to ask if they could come and take there order, bet they were in for a long wait.

Let's start on a positive. The waiter welcomed us, quickly seated us and took our drink order. He was friendly and polite. He was working alone and welcomed all of the customers in the same timely and friendly manner. The venue is lovely and on appearance we assumed it was going to be good. What a shame then, that this restaurant uses pre made bases for their pizzas. The toppings were fine but the perfectly shaped, very plain bases really let it down. It was fairly cheap, but such a simple change could make this a place to recommend.

We disregarded the bad reviews and decided to give this a try. My husband had been the previous week for pizzas with his two boys. He said the pizzas were excellent. The only complaint was that he had to ask 3 times to pay his bill. We had dinner there a week later. My husband had the pizza again, which didnt disappoint, freshly made and generous topping. I had chicken tagliatelle. It was a generous portion with lots of chicken and very tasty. We were informed on arrival of the waiting time, it was explained that each dish is cooked fresh to order. Service a bit sliw but we weren't on any hurry. Lovely restaurant wjth a good atmosphere. Would go again and recommend

Upon arrival it looked lovely but empty with only a few tables full we ordered drinks which didn’t taste the best as the beer tasted off and my 3 year old daughters orange juice tasted off as though it had been sat so long it turned into alcohol We looked at the menu and asked if they had a children’s menu with nuggets and chips on as this is what my daughter wanted and the reply we got was sorry we only sell proper food here we can make a smaller portion of the adults menu The table next to us refused to pay for there food as it smelt so bad and tasted even worse This pit is off even more after terrible service and terrible drinks The restaurant is cash only with no advertisement and the yo...

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years but since moving to this venue the food standard has dropped and the service is chaotic at best. We thought we would give it one more go as havent been in a while but we wont be rushing back. The young girl who served us, as nice as she was, was hopeless. We ordered some hummus and dough balls to start, I had to ask after 40 minutes whether they were ever coming and when they did, it was the wrong starter.
