"tonight we went to our favorite fish chips shop in cemaes. I heard another customer asked about salt and pfeffer huhn in cheesy chips. I asked about it because I didn't know they did. I was told that salt and pfeffer huhn is a new product. it is striped by huh served in broth crumbs with the option of Cheesy chips, with added chili, and/or on a baptism. I decided to salt and pfeffer huhn with cheese chips. the last time I wrote a review, I almost forgot to add a photo and had eaten half the chips when I took it. this time I remembered. the photo shows the complete grinding time of the chicken strips with Cheesy chips. the chicken is full of taste and the cheese gives him the beautiful finished taste. next time I want to try the same, but added with chili. I really hope this menu choice is to stay here. Whether they are regular or new to this facility, the chicken strips are highly recommended."

Never open on the times stated. Staff surly at best, and sometimes downright rude. Blatant racism towards English customers. Far friendlier chippies (with better food) to be found not far away.

Stayed in Cemaes Bay for a short break. Excellent haddock, chips and mushy peas. Would highly recommend. At moment open 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Just right for a quick pint in the Stag, then pick up your meal on way home.

we are back at our favorite chippy in cemaes. it is excellent to see our friends again after their winter break. tonight, I had a chip boap and broken fish. the photo shows what I ate, but when I transferred the chip-bap to the plate, I ate the half of the chips. there were more chips than what can be seen on the plate. in another post, someone claimed that their fish is small. As they can see, the fish on my teller is anything but small. mmmm tasty as always. 2022 doesn't start officially until I first helped a meal from here.

We visit Cemaes a couple of times a year and always try to save a day for chips! Excellent food, friendly service and great value for money. The portions of chips were huge, very tasty as were the onion rings. I would advise to always...check opening times, as we've been caught out a couple of times and found it closed (our fault You can also ring up and order (we didn't realise) but last week we ordered in the shop and then waited outside which was fine, it didn't take very long to the order. Highly recommended local business!

we often visit our local y wygyr fish and chips take restaurant and decided today afternoon we would visit again tonight. I don't often post updates or comments, but after the meal this evening I really thought I should. it was really excellent! I wanted fish and chips. Although that sounds pretty obvious, I usually enjoy other great meals from their menu. wow. the fish was fantastic quality, a beautiful large juicy piece of squid. beautiful and fresh and cooked to perfection. the teig was light, dry and crispy john and his team are master of their kitchen and make clear that they buy in the best quality products. highly recommended.

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
