fabulous old pub, so much history, had a great meal here. staff very friendly accommodation, a must visit. well kept beer good drinks menu. eat delicious inexpensive

I really enjoy this restaurant, it has a very traditional and cozy pub atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, and the log burner adds a homely feel with its natural warmth and comforting smell.

I stopped by because I wanted to visit this old pub. The staff was so friendly and I absolutely loved it. I was disappointed that food wasn't available that night, but I returned later and had a great experience once again. Speisekarte ansehen

Great pub food, attentive staff! Didn't need to wait long at all to be served even though it was fairly busy. Stopped by one night for food and again for the haunted experience. Even if you're not staying at the hotel, you can see haunted artifacts in the pub. I recommend the burger or the mushroom side dish. Scrumptious!

What an amazing Sunday roast. Everything about this place was top notch from The moment I walked through the door. The staff behind the bar couldn’t of been more he if they tried. The food was probably one of the best Sunday Roasts I’ve had. I loved the old school feeling inside the bar area. My second visit here. Hopefully many more to come

we arrived on Friday evening in a motorhome and Friday, how many we were extinguished from stream, drove Saturday in chester, a shopping spot and a few drinks in the pub. our usual favorite pub was full so we crossed the Kings head. wow, what a beautiful, original, warm and welcoming facility. I asked if I could charge my phone because I hadn't done any (fröhliche ask,) but among the circumstances my family hadn't heard of us since Friday night when the storm came up. we sat at the fire, telephoned and stayed for a few. we really felt at home. the staff went far and beyond to feel so welcome. I really want to thank them for that. the place is beautiful inside, keeps all its original features... Speisekarte ansehen
