The food was average. Not bad but nothing to get excited about. The dessert was not good. Especially the banana beignets, no taste and chewy like a rubber ball.

I asked the waitor what was vegan on the menu, he told me the burger was, but when I got it there qas clearly cheese on mine (not vegan cheese), so if you go there, dubble check with the staff.

This restaurant is located in a street with a bunch of restaurants. A lot of those restaurants were already fully booked and they had a lot of different dishes on the menu, so we chose to dine here. To be honest, it was okay, not special. They have set menus for 24€ for two small mezes and a main dish (and a drink). The food was average, we didnt end up hungry but it was not special or anything. Cycling club trip to Lille to participate in the Paris Roubaix sportive. Franck and the team at Zango coped admirably with us all (22). We were given a super set main course, dessert and drink for a fixed price. The basement dining area was ideal for us and enabled us to kick back and take our time over dinner. Worth booking in advance if you're in a group - Zango was the only restaurant in Lille prepared to/able to deal with so many of us.

We decided to book for a dinner after we read the unusual menu, just walking by the restaurant: cuisine from all over the world with several unconventional dishes.Very satisfied, and I really mean very satisfied!We had duck and chicken, prepared in a fancy way, sincerely I cannot remember exactly where the recipes were from, both very tasty and well done.The desserts were really good as well, all for a more than reasonable price.The place looks good and, differently from other spots in town, no annoying music ;-) and a relaxing atmosphere.I do recommend it, actually my personal first choice in Lille!

Me and my girlfriend found this place via TripAdvisor that had good comments. So I've made an online reservation through their website which they confirmed very fast ! At arrival we've been appointed to our table and then waited at least 20 minutes before somebody came to us with a menu or asking for an aperitief or so.. My girlfriend took as main dish the veggie burger and I ordered a plate with fish & rice. Again we had to wait kinda long (okay Saturday evening but it really wasn't crazy busy ! ) but the veggie burger really wasn't warm enough when it arrived. The plate came with a salad and some kind of chips. We shared it and felt like it didn't was a freshly made burger that was combine... Speisekarte ansehen
