Ordered a takeaway for collection. Missing parts of the order Said they would send out. Not great when we had collected the food. Very disappointing not sure that we will order anything again

Excellent meal all round from the pops with superb choice of pickle tray and plenty of mint sauce, amazing prawn puree and fantastic mains including chilli chicken, madras and pathia. Thank you for looking after us, we will definitely be back.

Yet another fantastic curry experience! The pickle tray was delicious, especially with the extra mint sauce. The Prawn Puree and Mixed Kebab were both a hit. We enjoyed the Pathia, Korma, Vindaloo, and Karahi with rice and naan. This was our third consecutive Saturday dining here and we couldn't be happier. Please keep our seats warm for us next time. Food was very good as always and prices are fine. But we had booked for 19.45 and it had all been worked out as I came from a long way off and was returning afterwards by bus after meeting friends who live in Crookes. We were kept waiting until 20.10 for a table which of course completely messed up my bus timetable arrangements. Shame the evening was rather spoilt as a result.

I would describe the food as truly delicious, but I strongly advise against ordering online. Visit the restaurant for dine-in or takeout, but avoid online delivery. This is my third time ordering and after the previous two experiences, I vowed to never order again. I decided to give them another chance, but I regret it. After waiting almost 3 hours and making 3 phone calls to track down my food, I finally received my order. I am extremely disappointed with the delivery service; it is virtually nonexistent. In my opinion, they should not offer delivery service if they are unable to fulfill it.

We'd not been here before and came here for an early evening meal with friends. Friendly welcome, comfortable seats quite a lot of soft furnishings which kept the noise level down a bonus these days). The service was quick too which suited us well as we were going on to a gig nearby. The menu's pretty standard and 3 of the 4 of us were very happy with the large and tasty onion bhajis we ordered for starters plus poppadums and the large pickle tray), plus the large main dishes. It's been far too long since my last visit, coming here always reminds me that I have missed good quality tasty food, a great ambience with lovely company. This visit was to celebrate a friends birthday, not that we neded any excuse to come here. Drinks was the traditional cold Kingfisher beer, We ordered poppadoms which came with a choice of 8 fresh accompaniments. These were a great start to our meal. We ordered a takeaway through Just Eat for three people, totaling £46. Unfortunately, this was the worst curry takeout we have ever had. The starters of poppadoms, onion bhaji, and sheekh kebab tasted old and stale, as if they had been sitting around for a few days. We also ordered a pickle tray for £4 to go with the poppadoms, but it was missing. The lamb karhai was filled with large pieces of onions and peppers, making it difficult to find the small amount of lamb in the dish.
