"Popped in for dinner on Friday night. My husband had lovely plump mussels and then a HUGE Calzone, both of which he really enjoyed. My daughter had prawns and a truly delicious pizza (I sneaked a piece, yum). I had Crayfish and then lamb leg. It was all super and at a lovely relaxed pace."

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly, and the food and wine are top-notch. What more could you ask for?! As of October 2023, the quality remains as excellent as always.

Another wonderful restaurant! Really friendly staff, superb food (Portuguese Sardines, Plaice and arugula salad), excellent wine, nice atmosphere, clean and modern. Would highly recommend!

"I recently moved to bookham, and today I and a friend have decided to try carolina as it had very good reviews. we were not disappointed, the staff are beautiful, polite, chatty and so helpful the little garden on the back is so beautiful: we enjoyed a nice lunch. I had a latte and a cajun chicken sluice with an salad fresh and tasty and some amazing carrot cake my friend had the smoked salmon bag and then the **** with sawn and jam and a pot tee. it was beautifully presented and so well costed. we spent a nice afternoon and this will be a popular place from now on. many thanks to x hasten"

"Another visit to Arto with my better half for our anniversary on Tuesday night. It was quiet as you would expect, three or four tables taken. Nice atmosphere with the boss man in attendance and the food was better than ever. You cannot go wrong in Arto, with home made food that is so much nicer than the other other offerings these days. We love it and will always return! Food: 5"

"Very busy when I arrived. Owner served me and was courteous and nice. Sorry I can't give a glowing review. My food took far, far too long to arrive. Although I have a pretty common special dietary requirement which was used as justification for the very long wait for a sandwich, it was still not good. Other cafes manage to fix me food in far less time. I thought my sandwich filling tasted good but that it was very expensive for what I had amount of salad served with it and sandwich size were tiny. On the plus side, I really liked the vibe and all the memorabilia and historical explanation about the links with the shoemaker who had worked out of this shop maybe even lived there who left for America on the Mayflower, ultimately being an ancestor of many Americans including Marilyn Monroe."

"This was my first visit to Two Many Cooks in Dorking. The staff were very friendly and the food looked nice. I had an Americano which was ok... I personally thought it tasted slightly bitter. It was very busy and is obviously very popular, but I found it quite annoying that I had to get up out of my seat a couple of times so staff could get past with other customers’ orders. It was also extremely hot in there. Personally, I think they need a bigger establishment, as they have obviously outgrown the present one. I feel that with more space, my experience would have been much more relaxed and enjoyable."
