We had a lovely dinner, great Italian food, can highly recommend, especially the mozzarella di bufala con tartufo and other truffle dishes!

After months of planning our 16-day trip and thousands of restaurants to Zio Carlo, it was the most disappointing. We could have chosen any restaurant among numerous in the area that would have offered a better service and food. The waiter was rude to us Americans when we asked for descriptions of food choices.

the food was definitiv far under Italian standards. pizza as for italy was even worse. the 4 pieces of fish ordered with anchovy and literally. each for a quarter of pizza before we fried little otopus, which was like a mumie to chew. even the bruschetta was only average. a good thing was the house wine. in and we got the bill without fork discount and moreover we were not able to pay with the forkpay, although it was offered in the app that waiter did not accept it. overall it was very disappointing. I would even say one of the worst experiences we have ever in Italy. insane.

Before we got fried little octopus which was like a gummy to chew. Even the bruschetta was only average. One good thing was the house wine. In the and we got the bill with no Fork discount and on top of this we were not able to pay with the ForkPay even though it was offered in the app the waiter did not accept it. In total it was very disappointing. I would even say one of the worst experience we got in Italy ever. Shame…

Ci siamo fermate qui a pranzo, io e le mie amiche a spasso per Roma. Siamo state incuriosite dal menu' turistico esterno, e siamo entrate. Il ristorante del complesso ci è piaciuto sia per il servizio che per la cucina. La mia amica, aveva una richiesta, il carciofo alla giudia, ma ahimè non c'era...così abbiamo assaggiato come antipasto il carciofo romano, e un antipasto a base di fiori di zucca fritti con mozzarella e alici, davvero eccezionale. Ognuna di noi ha ordinato poi un primo, la mia cacio pepe era davvero ottima, ben condita. Ristorante consigliato, unica cosa, ma è così in tutta Roma uno spirtz come ape, prima di iniziare la cena € senza patatine o stuzzichini... Speisekarte ansehen
