"Was keen to visit this place, given the reviews on TripAdvisor, but what a crushing disappointment. It was mid-morning on a Sunday - there was no one else in the place, the guy that greeted us wasn't exactly warm and I didn't feel comfortable. We ordered 2 coffees, a bottle of water (which was the most expensive bottle of water I have ever had on the Riviera - €6.50) and 2 bruschettas. The whole lot came to €40.The bruschetta that I ordered made no mention of it having cheese (I don't like cheese) - but it arrived with cheese. So being hungry I picked away at the parma ham and the outside crust which wasn't coated in cheese. The guy serving asked if there was something wrong with it, I told him I didn't like cheese. He asked if I wanted something else, but my companion had virtually finished his by this stage, so it wasn't worth it.At the very least - as a gesture of goodwill, I thought he would knock something off the bill but no.I was never so glad to get out of the place. It's also noisy - on a main road and this was a Sunday and some of the road was closed off. Also, another couple came in while we were there and even though there were no other customers at any tables, this couple sat at a table for 4, but the guy made them move to another table, even though the lady expressively wanted a 3rd seat for something she was carrying. I thought he was very rude and totally disinterested in his customers. The worst experience I have ever had anywhere on the Riviera and I go about 3/4 times every year to various resorts."

"Recommended location, booking made, hard car access, mandatory valet service at 15 €.Passed in front of the boss who assigns us a table., without wishing us a “ben cameto “no serious I am not part of the limited circle of showbiz, I understand. The rooms are well kneaded, the top-of-the-range dishes.Only placed we are asked if we want to take a consumption, I ask for the wine map and sees a first prize at 49 € for a very unusual climbpulciano, because spoiled by a taste of metal in the mouth. The rest of the wine map presents stratospheric prices. the most part showing a x5 coefficient in the nose view. Good, good to say... The ordered dishes did not present any particularity of taste excellence, some were even disappointing, edible certainly but nothing more, I think of the insipid tonato vitello. Note that the main dishes are served unfilled, if you add them with the garnish have on average 60 € the serving, my garnish was a purée of pd t, served warm, returned to the kitchen, Question service, charming waitress, which brings in the middle of the works the bottle of wine ordered after our remark. We pass the desserts, coffee, and ask for the addition. Our waitress rids the table, emptying each plate of its roses in a dish, in sum as in the refectory of a barracks, incredible! I learned that the famous mamo sold its establishment to start another business...” buona fortuna signore “ but try in the future not to take the customers for “pecione” pigeons."

"If there were more stars I would give them! This local gem boasts the most delicious traditional Italian food. Off on a quite side street you'll usually find two small tables on the curb side guiding you in. Walking through the door you transport straight to Italy from the decor to the chef. I have treated myself to coming here a few times and it never disappoints. The chef cooks everything so well from the al dente pasta to the rare steak and the grilled octopus... Oh the grilled octopus! Probably my favorite thing on the menu (beside the once in a blue moon roasted lamb dish for 2 or the seafood platter for 2 lol What I'm trying to say is, you really can't go wrong. I do recommend going there hungry. The portion size is quite large no matter the dish. It's a meal you go home and take siesta afterward ; The menu selection is really wonderful along with the large selection wines you are able to pair your meal with. La Trattoria has the most wonderful atmosphere. Almost as wonderful as the woman who runs it. She and the wait staff are just the sweetest. If you're lucky every once in a while you'll get to hear the chef singing in the back while he is pouring his love into the food. I'm a bit disappointed that I got so excited for my food, even though I have ordered the grilled octopus before, lol, that I forgot to take a photo. So, I'm attaching an old photo that I took one of the times before when we ordered the slow roasted lamb for two. It arrives at the table, and in front of you, the waiter separates the lamb meat as it just falls off the bone. They don't always have this dish, so keep an eye out for it. We'll be back! I recommend you give it a try too."
