"I never leave bad reviews as I think contacting the restaurant directly is the best way to resolve any complaint regarding food standard. However sadly I have had no option as the communication has been less than satisfactory with such a serious negligence. I got a takeaway delivered, first time using this outlet. The burger was raw, not pink but cold and raw. The chips were soggy as was the chicken burger. Sadly my partner didn’t realise it was raw until he felt the coldness inside as he has no taste buds. After trying to communicate with the restaurant immediately after and getting no response. I tried their email, constant calls to outlet then after 6 days messenger via social media. That got a response which was nothing short of unprofessional and with all evidence sent, still wouldn’t issue a refund and even questioned me why their food was raw. It left me puzzled and extremely frustrated. It is still ongoing but i think the safety of other consumers is foremost why I am now leaving this information."

"Don't worry if you are not a fan of fish, as plenty more on the menu. If though you're a fan of fish this is a fabulous restaurant. I love fish so does my wife, so we went for the two course meze for two. Possibly the best whitebait I've had, but so much more as well textures and flavours were a delight. So much to eat we had to ask for doggy bags to take the leftovers with us! Wine reasonably priced, staff really good. Will definitely revisit but starve myself for the day before; then I might have room for a pudding."

"We had been wanting to try this place out for a while and having received a promotional offer for an evening meal decided to sample the breakfast first. Nice parking and a nice roomy restaurant with plenty of empty tables. Obeying the order to stand...in front of the till to be seated, we proceeded to wait for several minutes without seeing a soul but we could hear the enchanting sounds of cutlery and glassware clinking. A couple of people that looked to be staff managed to walk determinedly not looking out way. This seems a bit odd but the area of the dining room that seemed to be in use was blocked by a wall with the passage running at an angle to it (not a real passage more of a pathway). Eventually, a polite young man saw us and asked if we were all right. We said no and asked for a table for two. Did we book, he asked. No, we said, there was nothing about having to book on your website. Oh well, he said, even if we could find you a table (admittedly he did stammer over this phrase as there was clearly at least 20 free tables in immediate view) the orders are piling up. Sorry. I did ask if we always had to reserve a table and was told, no, just today. So as the title of the review said wish we had been able to review the food and service but we clearly didn’t cut the mustard."

"Visited just before lunchtime on a Monday, following a ‘weekender’ at the nearby Butlin’s resort (something I’m sure the staff must or at least should be aware of). The place was packed out but not adequately staffed to cope. Drinks came within 5 10mins of ordering through the app, but food service took over an hour. During that time we weren’t kept updated or checked in on. Signage inside is confusing one hangs near the bar saying ‘toilet’ in large letters, but only when you get close does it say they’re behind you and to turn back the way you just came from. My food was pretty awful, but others on my table seemed to enjoy theirs so maybe I just made a bad choice (veggie burger with peppers). I didn’t feel there was much choice for a vegan though certainly nothing I could enjoy from the breakfast menu. I normally avoid Spoons and this visit only served to remind me why that is."

"We enjoyed our Sunday lunch at this restaurant, which was delicious and well-priced. However, one member of our group ordered the treacle sponge pudding and was not satisfied with it. She found it to be dry and lacking in syrup. When she requested more syrup, it was served in a small pot that was very hot to the touch and difficult to handle. Unfortunately, she described the overall experience with the pudding as "dreadful", which was disappointing considering the rest of the meal was enjoyable."

"We went to this restaurant this weekend with friends, I have to say we were most impressed, the welcome from Kim was friendly and welcoming, we were seated Immediately and drinks orders taken.the overall atmosphere was one of contentment , it was a pleasure to be seated in this wonderful restaurant . The menu is not extensive, but I buy into, do why you do and do it well, this restaurant does this in spade loads, the food was simply some of the best I have eaten, the beef in my opinion is second to none. A meal for four with two bottles of wine two of these meals were three course for less than £180 is great value. Go and try it you won't be disappointed. Thanks Kim, we had a great time, we hope to we you again soon."

"today with the family visited after a beautiful walk with the dog along the beach, what can I really say it was quite decent, better than I expected to be honest, the young girl who served us seemed quite boring, but she is only young. Maybe 16, so she probably got bare but she was nice enough and she was polite and helpful when I talked to her. the food came better than expected, and the portions were large, I got a blt that came with door stop bread and thick speck, and decent amount of tomatoes, it came with a side salat asswell that had paprika? it wasn't bad. I wasn't a fan of the tee bag, but that's nothing in the caffe, more a personal choice of me. I'm not out of the opposite, but fortunately, if I would visit the opposite again. I can't knock it on anything, decent prices, eat and service."

"We visited the Prince of Wales to celebrate our friends Birthday, wary of the panic that is gripping the country over the covids, so we did not want somewhere likely to be over crowded. What we found at the Prince of Wales was astonishing, with the Pub deserted and only us having a meal and three other people (plus a dog) having drinks. Our reaction was how so many people were missing out, none of us have been to this Pub for many years and we were all pleasantly surprised at how it had changed since our last visits. The Pub has been very tastefully upgraded with a pleasant patio garden added since my last visit. The best of the Pub was still to come, with the superb food, we all commented on the great choice on the menu with the Ladies in our party absolutely amazed at the number of Chicken dishes, which they like but with chicken virtually ignored by most Pubs and Restaurants (we assume it is not considered posh enough for them). I had one of their specials, which was pork pie, definitely not what I was expecting. This was a hot pork pie, much like a steak pie but with Pork and it was delicious and I especially liked the lovely salad that came with it. My Wife was also taken aback with the chicken strips with mushroom sauce it looked and she confirmed it was also superb. I wasn't brave enough to try it but after we had eaten the lovely waitress explained what the Latvian chicken on the menu was, and it confirmed that we will definitely be back and very soon to try it out, it sounded fantastic. Full marks to Prince of Wales and their very friendly and helpful staff during such difficult times, they really deserved to be full at this time of year, but thanks to the panic they are sadly not. Rest assured we will definitely be back and would recommend it to all of our friends."

"I visited Kerry's for lunch and had quiche with salad and baked potato then caramel ice cream sundae. After those I felt pleasantly sated. However there were a couple of issues. Both the quiche slice and the baked potato had been kept too hot for too long. The quiche had dried out somewhat, spoiling the texture and taste. The potato had acquired a soap like consistency. The venue and service were quite good though. I was amused to find that even though I retired quite a few years ago, I was the youngest client in there by some margin and they all knew each other by first name! To summarise, the current overall rating of Kerry's on TA is 4.5 stars. The current true rating (today) is not even close, but just a couple of changes of procedure in the kitchen should raise the (true) rating back to around 4 stars. Rating for food today is 5/10."

"Having recently moved to Bognor we are still trying to find a decent Chinese takeaway.Gave this one a try last night, ordered 1 X spring rolls £2.50, 1x chicken curry with egg fried rice £5.90, 1 X chicken with cashews £4.60 and 1 X plain chow mein £3.20Total £16.20 but charged £17.10 when I queried if this was correct, the young man behind the counter assured me it was by waving the receipt in the air. I asked if the menus price was correct he said yes, again giving him the chance to correct the charge by adding up the order again. He just repeated the charge was correct.I was not going to argue over 90 pence so left with a menue to double check at home. I was correct. The menue on the front page claims Our Customers Come First Unfortunately you have just lost my custom completely. If this scam is carried out regularly it must be quite lucrative to say the least.So please be warned or better still go else where!!!!"

"Wow where do I start this was the most different yet amazing meal out in a Indian restaurant we’ve ever had,the location is very nice a quiet village the restaurant from the outside looks like a pub as you go in it looks a lot smaller than what it actually appears but lovely to look at.We were greeted by a waiter and from the looks he was or is the only front of house staff but wow the most polite and friendly man you’ve ever met and I mean no disrespect but his English is better than most English people, he took us to our table there were 6 off us and 2 are regular’s it was on there recommendation we went and I didn’t regret it at all the only regret was not going before but anyway we got our drinks and popadoms and a selection of chutneys and went on to order our food and this is where the waiter Sol really blows us away we wanted to try something different and he did not let us down he asked us 3 questions 1.Taste/heat 2.Texture 3.Protein and within a few minutes he had made up a dish for not just me and my Mrs but 4 off us in only a couple of minutes and we were not disappointed I said I like it medium hot and garlic and thick sauce tomatoes too which he said “ I will get a Garlic chilli Chicken with a Rogan Jhos topping with a plain rice cooked with chilli and coriander’s with a hint of lime and coconut and it was amazing we didn’t have to look at the menu for food or drinks as he recommended the wine to go with the dish’s he is very passionate about what he does the only negative was the lady and her rude husband sitting on the table behind us it was busy but he was a one man team everyone was very happy with his service but this couple were so rude and to a point racist towards him this was because they were both a bit drunk she was making a fool off herself and he asked them to pay for the drinks and leave and not to come back and went to get them their bill we overheard them saying they would deliberately give him a bad review out off spit and that’s wrong he was one Man on his own and he was very professional and polite and efficient the phones ringing the tablet was dinging every couple of minutes he was all over the place but I’ve been to restaurants where they have a lot more staff not as busy and still no where near as good as Sol,,me and my friends said as we heard the vile drunk woman say to her vile drunk husband let’s give a bad review,,so we would let people know the truth Sol you are a very good person it was great to talk with you and keep doing what you’re doing with that amazing smile my Mrs thinks he’s a bit off a looker "

"So we called in here while out on a cycle ride in our local area and thought we’d give this pub a go again, despite a non too pleasant experience a few years ago. So we rock up, we are not welcomed in at all, and note that there is only one ale available and one lager too. Not the best start,but never mind we’ll persevere! Anyway after pouring my pint, the landlady saw that we were wanting to pay by contactless, as everyone does now. Oh no, pint swiftly removed as we had no card or cash on us. What a real horrible experience. So we’ll give this a swerve again for another few years . How the landlady can run a business being so unfriendly, lord only knows!"

"I went to this restaurant on 17/09 with two friends and a dog, and I was immediately impressed by the wide variety of food and cakes available. The prices were incredibly reasonable as well! As a vegan, I ordered a jacket potato with baked beans, which came with a delicious, large salad. I was even able to have vegan cheese on the beans! Along with a pot of tea, the total bill came to less than £10, which was amazing! The meal was absolutely delicious and the tea even came with soya milk, which was a nice extra touch. The staff were excellent, very patient and friendly. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, as well as a little shop. I will definitely be returning in the future."

"Everything about our visit was amazing. The welcome from the staff behind the bar, the varied choice of food, the service was fantastic. This pub is clearly very popular with the locals but as outsiders we were made to feel so welcome. The barman overheard our chat about wishing we had brought a pack of cards and next minute he has produced a pack of cards for us. The lady was exceptionally friendly and took great care of us. I was torn between the sausage and mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding or the chicken and ham pie. I was delighted when both needs were met!!! See picture! 150% recommend."

"After searching for the perfect venue to use as a Celebration of the Life of my wonderful Mum , we were fortunate to find The Boundary at Middleton Sports Club. This is now under new Management. Right from the start, Manager Emma listened to our requests. Nothing was too much trouble and she came up with excellent suggestions to further extend our wishes. We settled for Afternoon Teas, some GF (I am gluten allergic) and a table of Kiddie food for the younger family members, also gluten free as they are coeliac. As the Funeral date itself became nearer and I became more and more stressed, Emma was quick to reassure me that I didn 't need to worry about the Wake part as her team and herself had got this! . I was so relieved to have one thing less to worry about! On the morning of the funeral she met us bright and early so that we could set the room up. We all duly returned after the Funeral.... and what a sight met our eyes! The room looked so welcoming and the food....mouthwatering. It is an all-weather venue with a lovely patio outside; some of our guests enjoyed sitting in the sunshine . Ben ran the bar for us and Talia served tea and coffee. Quiet music added to the ambiance and a throughly enjoyable Celebration was enjoyed by all. The food was just amazing... very delicious, attractively served and so plentiful! My gluten free cakes and scones were light as a feather. This was a good surprise and one that I rarely have! My husband made a toast and we all raised a glass to Mum. She would have been so proud. We highly recommend this venue. Thank you so much Emma and Jules, you made a sad time more so much more bearable."

"went in for a light bite lunch with my mum on the 24/05/22. despite being incredibly busy, we were acknowledged on entry, seated and orders taken almost immediate. there was a brilliant atmosphere with all the staff interacting with the customer, in particular a young asian lady who was so jolly and full of life. our food was very good, a bacon stilton jacket and a tuna mozzerella panini and their coffee's that were coming out all looked excellent too. high recommend"

"We booked for Sunday lunch and were glad we did as the restaurant was very busy! We ordered roast lunches and a burger from the kids menu. Despite being very busy, the food arrived quickly and the service was good and attentive. The roast was HUGE! Massive variety of vegetables. It was a fair roast lunch not the best I’ve had but pleasant and the price was reasonable at £12.95. There was absolutely no room for pudding after the epic roast but the menu looked good. Coffee was delicious. There was a good range of kids meals, something for everyone. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere and the surroundings/views. The sun was flooding in and we had a view of Arundel castle from our table. There is a large deck by the river which would be lovely in the summer. We would definitely return!"

"Some of the staff need extra training, due to putting her finger in my drink and spilling chips all over the table. They didn't seem to enjoy where they were working and would give you judgemental stares, especially if you put on the costumes. The food was fair chicken was dry but encourages you to buy drinks to get rid of dry mouth. The prices were a little expensive for what was brought out, I probably wouldn't come here again due to feeling judgement from the staff which put a downer on my birthday dinner. The idea of the décor and theme is amazing however, the execution is not great and will not last long if it continues, which would be a shame."
