Perfect curry. Madras was delicious and so was dupiaza. Will order again

Again this meal was superb. We tried a new dish and will definitely be having it again.

I have ordered from Monsoon several times, but this time the mild dish I ordered was so spicy that it was impossible to eat. I will not be ordering from here again.

The dansak didn’t have any flavour and the chicken was chewy and didn’t taste nice. The korma chicken was nice but again not much flavour. I normally order from Monsoon and always have a lovely curry. I think it just depends on what day you order as to what chef is on.

I had not been here for a while but my friends and myself used to eat there regularly. Circumstances changed. We are known to most of the staff. Welcomed om arriving. My meal was probably one of the best I have had. Prawn Puree starter and Shashlik Laziz. All the party commented on how good their dishes were. It was also surprisingly busy for a Monday evening. Called to order food and was told to please wait, 3 minutes of being left on a counter I placed the order after having to give my card details twice. Waited an hour and called and they said will be leaving the shop in a minute. 30 minutes later called back and said that it will be another 15 minutes. After 25 minutes the food turned up and some was hot and some was cold. Chicken was dry and the sauce left a puddle of water on my plate. Poppadoms were in 20 pieces also. Would advise to not get a delivery from here and they will be losing a good customer.

Having just mover to the area, and being curry lovers, we were looking for an Indian to be out 'regular ' This was our first visit to Monsoon. Started well with popadoms and drinks arriving promptly at our table, and our order taken for main meal. That is when everything went downhill. There were only 4 other tables occupied in the restaurant, but we had to wait 45 minutes for our meal. We were not the only ones getting fed up. Needless to say, if this is the quality of service when they are quiet, I hate to think what it is like if they get busy. My wife and I went to the Indian Restaurant Monsoon in Rustington last night. We were greeted indifferently by the sole occupant who we tried to engage with by indulging in chat to no avail. We ordered drinks which were brought to the table, they don 't serve non-alcoholic beer, and our menus were slid onto the table for us to peruse. We wanted to order but our waiter busied himself by putting straight an askew serviette on an adjacent table. My wife had to request him to take our order. My wife and I visit many Indian restaurants in the area so we are well aware of the various dishes. The meal that came was very disappointing.
