"Lovely staff and service. Had run out of the kebabs that were personally recommended (at 7.30pm) and also my second choice of ham hock, but my third choice of pie of the day was great. The draft San Miguel was perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Lovely country pub and hotel in a beautiful peaceful location. Really comfortable rooms. Great staff who looked after us very well and our dog was very welcome. The food here is excellent. We had breakfast and dinner twice as a group of 6 and every meal was perfect. The cosy bar was reasonably priced with a decent wine selection. Highly recommended. Great hotel and will definitely return."

"My friend and I met there for a light lunch. I arrived before my friend and was shown to my table quickly. I liked the fact I was asked if I wanted any water on the table and which sort I preferred. Service was efficient . Food was tasty and well-presented. It was a good experience overall but I hesitate to award five stars because it wasn't outstanding."
