Just had food for ten people , couldn’t do enough to accommodate us , food was absolutely lovely , steak and ale pie best I’ve tasted , would highly recommend . Massive Thankyou x Service: 5 Location: 5

We were fortunate to discover such a lovely place to stay with our little dog on short notice. The owners were incredibly accommodating, and the room and breakfast were fantastic! I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely staff and service. Had run out of the kebabs that were personally recommended (at 7.30pm) and also my second choice of ham hock, but my third choice of pie of the day was great. The draft San Miguel was perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant is an excellent and friendly spot with very courteous staff. Parking is convenient, and the food was truly delightful. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area. Price per person: £30–40. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5.

Stayed here last night and was made to feel so welcome! Lovely clean room with tea and coffee available to make in room with spacious shower and toiletries. Claire and Steve (the new owners) are amazing and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional as well. Highly recommend The Green Dragon, will be staying again very soon. Lovely big room. Great location. Unfortunately poor night's sleep. This was because the pillows did not suit me. Mainly it was because there are 4 rooms coming off a small area maybe 2 Square yards) and you can very clearly hear everyone opening doors and walking immediately outside your door. In fairness, if you are a heavy sleeper, it would be perfect. Xx Rooms: 5

We had an excellent experience at the Green Dragon. We arrived as a group of 10 without a reservation on a Saturday, but after a bit of rearranging, we were accommodated in the bar area of the already bustling pub. The food was outstanding, and everyone enjoyed their diverse selections. If we had known how delicious the steak and ale pie was, we would have ordered 10 portions of it! If we find ourselves in Bedale again, we will definitely stop by The Green Dragon once more!

The atmosphere felt quite cliquish and not very welcoming. We spent £40 for two Sunday Roasts and a Coke each, which seems steep. The meal included one parsnip, a spoonful of mashed potatoes that tasted like they came from a packet, and a shared plate of vegetables that consisted of one tablespoon of peas, two small florets of overcooked or possibly frozen cauliflower, and a tablespoon of mashed carrots. It's disappointing, as I had always enjoyed this place, but I won’t be returning. Food rating: 3/10. Speisekarte ansehen
