We had a brilliant out the blue meal here last night! Happened to be driving past late and managed to arrive just in time for food still being serviced. Some of the best pub fish and chips we’ve had a side of curry sauce included very much welcomed! Great service and great atmosphere. Wish I had my dog with me as it’s very dog friendly. We recently had one of the best meals we have had in a long time at this restaurant! It was absolutely superb and we are already looking forward to going back again during our next visit to Yorkshire in August for my husband's birthday. It was wonderful to see both locals and visitors enjoying this pub. The refurbishment was done very well, the staff were extremely friendly, and we loved that the bar area was dog-friendly. Be sure to make a reservation as it can get quite busy, even on weeknights. We highly recommend this place! Speisekarte ansehen

This area is a desert for vegan or alternative ways to live and eat, so we were thrilled to find a traditional pub with a separate vegan menu. The elections sound amazing, but unfortunately the tastes do not live entirely on purpose or price. A gigantic cauliflower steak, which basically boils a thick slice of cauliflower and then sprinkled with water into the side sauce of a tablespoon of poor Romesco. The thing that really annoys us, however, is a place that is pretentious with a description of a "Raisin and apple ragout" and then serves a scatter of dried currants and some bits of raw cut Granny Smith. Desserts were good, but just too expensive for not fantastic food
