"This is fast becoming one of my favorite lunch restaurants in the greater Toulouse area. It is located in the charming old part of Blagnac. Service is attentive and it seemed they remember us even though it had been months. Recommend going at noon if you can and being one of the first at lunch. It is easy to enjoy the ambiance with its big great room, which is warmed by the big chandeliers, stone and open fire pit over which your food is cooked. The daily specials include a meat, fish and chicken option along with good entrees. The house maison cocktail with champagne and a cherry is delightful. The wine list is plenty including good options by the glass and demi bottlesThe meal begins with some toasted bread and tapenade as an amuse bouche. Some reviews suggest the portion is small. I disagree, they are plenty bountiful but thankfully it is not an over abundancehThe demi chicken was fantastic today. The fish is usually light and done just right. The pork which my husband had was undercooked for my taste but that is often typical in France. Just let them know how you want it cooked. They aim to please here. the veggies and rice on the side were delicious and slightly inventive. I have had the deserts here and they are just okay. I am usually so full but often am tempted to get one to share. I would skip the desert next time. This is definitely one of my more favorite lunch restaurants in all of the Toulouse area."

"The husband /owner does not like ANY constructive criticism and is defensive, borderline agressive read previous TripAdvisor replies to unhappy comments). The wife/ owner is welcome to constructive criticism, concerned and kind. But we will NOT go back. Fish overcooked, not much flavor, no sauce that I could actually taste). Beef, very very tiny. Don 't order 'well done ' like 125 grams after its cooked). Side dishes fine. Dessert worth no more that what you pay for even 2 euros). 'Whipped caramel panacotta ' like you think oooooohhhhhh whipped panacotta w caramel sauce yum) lemon lime mousse with under ripe nectarines and a teeny tiny drizzle of caramel that you cannot even scrape from the plate..... sigh. I also accidentally spilled my wine all over myself, plate and dress white wine luckily) and of couse had to pay for it. At least the spilled wine on my plate gave my fish a tad of humidity/flavor. Maybe its better in the evening when it costs more but I would rather eat across the street where its much better and they are more convivial and service/customer oriented. I felt like we were being treated like tourists cuz I have an anglosaxon accent, though I have lived within 15 km of this restaurant for over 22 years..... ! The photo is of the 'panacotta ' after eating one fluffy mousse bit and desperately trying to scrape the caramel on the plate to attempt to hide the bizarre lime zest flavor there were bits of lime zest in the mousse too.... urg)."
