"We have tried so many different Chinese’s over the past few years and this has been by far the worst one! I have never had food as awfully bland as this and the service response was atrocious! We ordered £46 worth of food for 4 people and majority of it has gone in the bin, despite still being starving! The first lady on the phone when ordering was pleasant and the food was delivered within an hour. On arrival, we opened our salt and pepper box and were appalled on the portion size for £8! Followed by the empty rattling box of anemic ‘crispy shredded beef’ that shocked us how empty it was and what a strange colour it was too. When opening the curry sauce to pour- it was cold and wasn’t even pourable, which looked extremely unappetising. We heated it up to try and make it hotter and runnier but it made no difference. We plated it up and sat down ready to eat the food we’d been looking forward to all day. I have never known a whole meal be so bland! The lumpy solid curry sauce, soggy spring rolls, dry chicken chowmein and even egg fried rice tasted of nothingness and not how a Chinese should do! The only thing that was edible were the wings and ribs. We ended up chucking majority of the £46 worth of food which we were absolutely gutted about! We rang the Chinese to give feedback and the man on the phone asked if we wanted food in return, which we didn’t want after that experience. We then spoke to another man on the phone (either the manager or chef we think) who was extremely rude. He refused to do anything about it or even apologise unless we got the food out of the bin and took it to them that night so he could ‘assess it’. We will definitely not be returning due to extremely tasteless food, small portions and bad customer service!"

"We recently emailed the Dev with our concerns (as below) and have no response!!! We have been quite regular visitors for almost 3 years now and have always enjoyed our visits, as have our two golden retrievers and have generally been made most welcome. Our regular visit would normally entail an afternoon drink and meal from the lunchtime menu, but have also made many evening visits with friends and family. A sequence of events over a period of time have culminated in our reluctant decision to seek out and take our business to a different establishment. 1. Our regular daytime visit consisted of arriving mid afternoon for drinks and a lunchtime (smaller) meal in the bar area. However, the deadline for ordering was changed from 4.00 to 2.30 which was not great for our routines and ultimately reduced the number of visits we could make. We challenged the decision with a senior member of staff who told us it was made so the chef(s) could have a 'bit of a rest '. What 's inconsistent is that main meals are available all day??? So, if we wanted to do our afternoon visit; arrival after 2.30 not acceptable, but if we did arrive after 2.30 and ordered a larger meal from the main menu the chef would somehow find the energy!! 2. The lunchtime menu changed and sausages mash (one of our regular choices) was removed, disappointing!! We queried this with a senior member of staff and were told if we asked for the sausage and mash as was on the lunchtime menu, we could have it....and have done so on occasions since, great. Today we planned a visit and were really looking forward to sausage and mash, when we tried to order them we were told it was not possible because it was on the main menu and if we wanted them the only way we could have them was to order from the main menu at main menu prices portions. 3. Recently, we arrived at 2.31 and were told it was too late to order from the lunchtime menu, not great, in fact, disappointed is a very weak description of how we felt that day. Now disillusioned but positive in our drive to find another Dev which we have now done, silly on their part because we 've spent some £1000 's there in the past, their loss."
