"So glad I found this hidden treasure whilst holidaying in Laugharne, South Wales. The food was absolutely delicious, truly authentic and packed full of flavour. It is freshly prepared and so it takes a little longer but it’s well worth the wait. We ordered the Prawn Noodles which was a generous portion with lots of king prawns within and the Thai Green Veg Curry with Jasmine Rice which transported you straight to Bangkok. It’s a shame we found it on the last day of our trip, don’t make the same mistake and certainly visit this place if you’re in the area."

"On a trip to the local area for the best part of a week, a friend I went to The Llwyndafydd Inn for meals on the 24th 25th August. While there we ate the same; the steak with seasoned potatoes on the Thursday and the lasagne tonight. On both occasions the food was incredible; yes, the type of thing you can read in many a review of anywhere, but the steak was medium rare precisely as requested, tasted delicious and the recommended potatoes were a joy compared to the mash or fries options most other restaurants offer as 'one or the other nothing else '. Tonights ' lasagne was ridiculously good. Neither the cheese or the sauce were overbearing which is a regular bug-bear of most pubs/restaurants I go to, the meat was thick and I enjoyed each mouthful. For tonights ' dessert we had the cookie crumble with chocolate sauce and ice cream in a skillet pan. An intriguing way to serve, I thought. Even better to taste. The service both nights; at the bar and at the table, was friendly fun without being pushy or intrusive. I would recommend your pub/restaurant to anybody that I know who may happen to be in the area and more importantly than even that I sincerely hope to get the chance to return."

"I love this café and have visited before while in Llanelli town center. I had a delicious cappuccino and sausage bap, which the waitress told me came with a hot drink offer. The toasted teacake was also delicious, but was served on a chipped plate. The service was friendly and great."

"indien quay is one of the best Indian restaurants in newcastle despite the great competition in a city with a large Indian community that has contributed to the creation of dozens of restaurants with qualitatiw high quality oriental food. the india quay is a great restaurant. while most of the others are insecure, this is located in the dynamic quarter quayside, and it pulls out all party people at the weekend. it is very popular, and fills up from 7pm, so it is best to make a reservation. an evening menu costs approx. 10 pfund or 13 euro. there is a series of dresses that can be shared with friends and with a drink and dessert ends the bill about 20 pfund per person, which seems appropriate for food of this quality. there are numerous vegetarian options such as sweet curry, vegetarian samosas, lentil soup, etc. and they are all so delicious with special flavors."

"We always make at least one special trip here when we're in the area. Always excellent food, including gluten free pictured . Menu also shows gluten free options which is originally why we came in- just so much easier! Everything feels very fresh, honest and tasty. Staff Inc. chef are always very friendly and good too. Happily recommend. Also excellent teas I am fussy about the brand of tea! and coffee and cake includes gluten free cake ."

"We happened to end up in Roadhouse on our trip and had an excellent breakfast. The big breakfast was really big and delicious. The sandwiches were also great. The interior is very nice, as is the service. Everything was very clean and the other guests also made a satisfied impression. Plenty of parking spaces available. I found it very comfortable in the Roadhouse. A small note: Personally, I would leave out the printed paper under the burgers. It tends to stick to the food, but that's not a problem."

"a beautiful meal! it is more than just a meal, it is an event! it was yesterday the birthday of my wife, but we use it at every special occasion and have done for over 30 years. we enjoyed many years with mavis and david and dafydd and lynwen have certainly maintained the high standards. they are very friendly and friendly as well as very efficient with first-class food and service. it is a real gem of a pub and a tasty every time we visit. diolch dafydd and lynwen look forward to the next"

"late for a meal at what we found out was the karneval day of the city. the workers were understandably rushed by the feet, but were nothing but helpful and accommodating. we found ourselves a table in a quiet room on the back where we could sit with our young puppies. they offered us water for the dogs as soon as we sat down and warn us, it could be a wait for eating as it was so busy. within 10 minutes of ordering, four of the best steak burgers we have ever eaten. the staff was so polite and helpful and we will definitely come back!"

"Popped in here with my family after a muddy bike ride to the castle for some lunch and was very pleasantly surprised! From the outside you might be put off by the battlecruiser look of Yr Hen Vic but don 't be. We were greeted with...a very warm welcome from the landlady and staff who allowed our furry friend in as well as allowing us to secure our bikes in one of the other rooms in the pub(despite the mud! . We were then served a proper traditional Sunday lunch with more veg than I could possibly consume and continued to bend over backwards to accommodate ours and demanding children 's wishes. Thank you all, we will be back."

"the most beautiful lunch to celebrate our wedding party. the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. beautiful informal atmosphere. the portion size was perfect, which meant that I had a place for one dessert and it was as worth as the lemon meringue roulade was to die! this was our first visit, but we will definitely return. so convenient to just 10 minutes from home. highly recommended try it for themselves they will not be disappointed."

"Placed a fairly large order online £75) for collection at 18.30, arrived just before and told it would be 2 minutes. At 19.00 the order finally arrived and after arriving home we discovered most of the order to be wrong. We had 2 dishes show up incorrect, the tandoori chicken didn't arrive at all and the bhuna was seriously overspiced. Topped off with an entire bag of completely floppy poppadoms, a cold chapati, and a stale garlic naan. The free salad was the highlight of the entire takeaway. Won't be recommending nor returning."

"this is a friendly relaxed pub with good value eating. we enjoyed a very good Sunday dinner that was a good portion for the price that was £13.50 per head. the bark was very well cooked and the pig was also excellent. the cauliflower...cheese was very nice, like the bratkartoffeln and there was much serious. we were too full for a dessert, but my wife enjoyed a beautiful glass Portuguese red. it would have been nice if it had been a local beer in the offer, but others that the service was good and the pub busy."

"Lovely BUT won't go back. How to run a cafe that stands in the way of making money... I don't know who designed the process at this cafe, but on a Sunday in a park it's a majority of people with kids and dogs. I wanted to pop in and get a takeaway coffee (which they do serve) but I was told by the cafe bouncer (yes there is one) that I had to sit at a table, wait for a guy to come and serve me with an ipad and then I had to wait for others (with food orders) to be served first. I didn't bother. Eventually after the walk we sat down. The food took 45 MINUTES, this was an order of 2 x eggs on toast. 45 ms in a restaurant is just about acceptable but in a park cafe with kids and dogs it was mental. We went up to the counter to buy some crisps to keep my daughter happy in the huge wait for food and was told in no uncertain terms I had to sit back down at the table and order with the waiter for just a packet of crisps!! So you are unable at any point to be able to order at the counter or just pick up say a can of coke or a packet of crisps on the go, you have to sit at a table. They are massively missing a trick here, if they had a small window hatch where they could serve ice creams and coffees and crisps etc to people that were on the go then they'd make a hell of a lot more money doing it this way which causes people frustration, massive waiting times and loses them money IMO. just because things were always done that way doesn't mean that they should be done what that way forever, and I've never seen this process in a park cafe in my life. I actually feel sorry for the for the young waiters and waitresses. The manager I'm sure will vilify my review but before he does perhaps he needs to consider his process may be flawed and not all the people that come here and go through the same thing..."

The atmosphere was so inviting and pleasant by these beautiful Thai family that host it . "Booked a table online, we arrived 10 mins before our booking time (I assume that’s acceptable and we’re seated. The waiter with the bandana on was so lovely friendly, didn’t waste any time taking our drinks orders at all later returned to take our food orders. I ordered the fish basket my husband ordered the 3 meat selection, one of his choices was half a rack of ribs, however they didn’t have any. My husband decided as there were no ribs he would have been better off going for the mixed grill, as it was basically the same price but more meat so he went to the bar to ask if it would be possible to change his order it was no trouble for them at all. The chef delivered the massive mixed grill to my husband even came to check he was happy with it later, the lovely waiter with the bandana also came to check all was ok it was. The chips were massive but tasty portions were a really good size. Food cooked fresh to order so couldn’t fault it. The lady waitress was chatting to us when she took our plates away was also very friendly. Great meal, we left happy with full bellies: Thank you"

"As a family we decided to order food on Just Eat so we could have a nice meal watching the rugby at home. We paid for delivery but when food arrived items were missing. I immediately contacted the Ali Raj who said they had no delivery drivers and that I would have to collect the missing items from the restaurant (totally defeating the object of having our food delivered) I told the restaurant that this was not acceptable and the female member of staff offered us a full refund. After a few days still no refund received and after four phone calls I finally managed to speak to the same woman. She now told me that I had to apply to Just Eat for a full refund so I asked why she hadn’t told me this initially and after some shocking and exceptionally rude behaviour from the female who called me a liar saying that she explained this to me during my first phone call which I can categorically say she didn’t. I then contacted Just Eat and to our disappointment have been advised that refunds need to be requested within 72 hours. I have been made aware that some restaurants could be exploiting this rule. Having run a successful restaurant myself I will NEVER return to this restaurant again."
