Visited here for a bite to eat and brew whilst staying nearby. The omelets were homemade and tasted fab too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When we are next over that way would definitely visit again. Speisekarte ansehen

came here during a friendly holiday in the brecon beacons to find somewhere to have the afternoon and we were not disappointed. the tea and cake selection was great and the tea room had a relaxed atmosphere. would definitely recommend and come back here!

We stayed for one night in a family room. A really nicely sized room with everything you need and well presented. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice, even pancakes which our son was very pleased with. If we need to stay in Llandovery again it will be at Penygawse. Thanks.

here on the way to solva and had tee and bara brith, but was so impressed, so decided to stop on the way to home. we had southern fried chicken, chips boiled 3 times (delicious) and a beautiful fresh salad dressed with balsamikum. eating is simple, but the first class and the staff are efficient and beautiful. highly recommended. We always make at least one special trip here when we're in the area. Always excellent food, including gluten free pictured . Menu also shows gluten free options which is originally why we came in- just so much easier! Everything feels very fresh, honest and tasty. Staff Inc. chef are always very friendly and good too. Happily recommend. Also excellent teas I am fussy about the brand of tea! and coffee and cake includes gluten free cake .

I went to Penygawse for the second time the other day the first being in 2019 I live 140 miles away so this limits how often I can visit!! We were staying in the area so suggested to my wife and daughter we should have breakfast there as I remembered it being so good. My wife and I loved the delicious Veggie breakfast and coffee, and my daughter enjoyed the pancakes which she described as ‘nice and fluffy!’ The staff were really friendly and service was brilliant. When I’m back in the area I’ll definitely come back

After a cold walk we were looking forsomewhere to warm up and regain our lost calories from our freezing walk. Came across this one. Looked busy inside so thought it must be good. It was. Small lunch menu usual things, jacket pots, sandwiches, toasties, all day breakfasts, triple cooked chips and various sides, cawl and soups, and some other lovely sounding lunches. Went for an all day breakfast, and ham eggs and said triple cooked chips. Yum it was just what was needed. Very filling, not at all greasy and a big pile on our plates. Hot chocolate was lovely too, best I've tasted. £11 each plus about £3 for hot chocolate, not cheap but they have to make a living. Would highly recommend. Just w... Speisekarte ansehen
