"With friends we wanted to try this very big place. We have dedicated to the restaurant and not pizza, so for the food aspect we can feel a little commercial and touristy. Plentiful portions and dishes adapted for the mass, although with an eye on the presentation. They discussed the service (they left us in a room alone and did not often come to see if it needed anything). The price-quality ratio is not bad, also because the quality is not very high, but it comes out sazi and quite satisfied. On average."

"I would have given 0, but that wasn’t an option. I have never written a review before (promise) and even thought people who did had too much time on their hands. However, I went to this place today, based on the fact it appears in a book my boyfriend has called ‘Where Chefs Eat’. The book has led us to some of the most incredible meals we have ever had whilst travelling, which I would say are some of the best meals I have ever had. So, we arrived and were seated promptly. Fine. The food came at a reasonable pace. The good ends there. I have been living in Italy for over a year and I have to say it’s the most bland food I have had since I landed. I am even counting the terrible little restaurants we have stopped at along the roadside. We had caponata (one of my favourite dishes in Italy, ever) which tasted ridiculously sweet and a vongole pasta which was the blandest pasta I have had since being in Italy. The grilled octopus was mediocre at best and was the only dish that made it anywhere near a passable meal. 4 days before we ate at a Michelin place in Agrigento which cost €60 (incl wine) where we had a hell of a lot more food and a much warmer welcome. The entire dinner (bottle of wine, one pasta, one cortoni and one starter) at this place cost us €58. What annoys me isn’t the absolutely terrible quality of the food. What annoys me is that we received the worst service I have ever had in Italy. Or, more to the point, ever. I asked for the bill at least 3 times (although they had tried to take our plates multiple times to free our table, well before we were finished) and whilst we waited over 10-15 mins each time, I was repeatedly asked to ‘relax’. I can speak Italian, and our waiter could speak fluent English, so each time being asked to ‘relax’ whilst also being asked to vacate our table was, to say the least, frustrating. It was only when my boyfriend asked for the bill that it finally arrived. As I say, ‘Where Chefs Eat’ has never steered us wrong before, but this time, I really wish I had listened to the terrible review I read online. Rude staff and sub-par food. DO. NOT. BOTHER."

Tutto freschissimo, tutto preparato e proposto con grande passione e amore.il menù prevede anche piatti di carne, buonissima e tenera.Da consigliare anche i dolci a fine pasto : la delicatezza della millefoglie alla ricatto oppure la torta con le fragoline.L'ambiente è famigliare e accogliente. "My friend and I found out about this place by mistake during our first day in Catania when we were still discovering the city. The opening hours are amazing as they are open till past midnight. Moreover, the authenticity and homemade sweets or coffee are the factors that really attracted us to the place. They can serve you anything from coffee till food. They are equally good in the salty bites as well as the sweet ones. However, what I liked most about this place are the staff! Energetic fun girls who really know how to take care of their customers. I would give them a 5/5 rating. I kept on going there every night until I left Catania and it would definitely on my top to do list when I revisit the city. In brief, they are clean, organized, the food and beverages are to die for and the whole concept of the place is so cosy and close to the heart!"

"Beautiful and authentic scene, you really get that south Italian vibe. Unfortunately you need a lot of patience. It took 20minutes before we got to order water and another 20 before we got to order beers and pizza. We waited for at least another 20minutes before the beers and the pizza arrived. The place was packed, must be said, and I have a bad feeling they prioritized the locals because they seemed to have a constant flow of both food and drink. Il personale si è dimostrato accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Ho prenotato con the fork poiché attratto, oltre che dalle positive recensioni, anche dallo sconto del 50%. Tuttavia sfogliando il libretto del menù (che tra l 'altro consiglierei di rinnovare poiché troppo usurato per fare una bella figura), ho notato che in diversi piatti c 'era scritto a penna no the fork . Oltre a trovarlo di pessimo gusto penso che sia un comportamento commercialmente scorretto ai limiti della legalità. Dopo aver pagato, l 'ho fatto notare al gestore il quale mi ha detto che andrebbe in perdita su alcuni piatti se applicasse il 50% di sconto....Non lo metto in dubbio, però io cliente voglio saperlo prima di prenotare, oppure tu ristoratore non devi scrivere sconto 50% se poi non lo applichi a tutti i piatti del menù. Questo oltre, che mettere di malumore il cliente che si sente trattato come uno di serie B, è una vera e propria truffa poiché tu gestore attrai i clienti con una falsa promessa. Se non ci fosse stato lo sconto del 50% avrei magari scelto un altro ristorante con più sconto o con recensioni migliori. È un errore strategico da parte del gestore, a mio parere, poiché se io dovessi raccontare ad un amico come si mangia a Catania gli direi: benissimo, ma non andare da Patrizia perché ti scrive 50% e poi non è vero . La presa in giro è un 'esperienza negativa che rimane più impressa rispetto alla bontà del cibo. Ad ogni modo le 4 stelle le metto poiché la pasta alla Catanese mi è davvero piaciuta molto."

"Questa trattoria merita 5 stelle. Merita 5 Stelle Perché sa darti quelle poche cose ma ben concentrate della caratteristica tipicità dei prodotti siciliani cucinati a base di pesce, molto ridotto E meno di carne ma ci sta perché è un'attività concentrata attivamente sul tipo di produzione alimentare a base di pesce. Ho mangiato un piatto di bucatini alla palermitana con sarde e la cosa bella che mi ha colpito È che il padrone mi ha porto la ciotolina con la mollica tostata alla siciliana cosa che in tanti altri locali non mi è mai stata fatta e che ho sempre notato. Il calice di vino sfuso era buono Tant'è che anche mi è salito alla testa e quindi il vino era di un'ottima gradazione alcolica ideale per accompagnare una pietanza a base di pesce. Per il padrone una persona molto alla mano si vede che ha tanto che ha a che fare con questo tipo di lavoro e ci sa fare Quindi io direi che per degli amici possibilmente delle coppie che vogliono andare a mangiare qualche tipo di pietanza a base di pesce possono tranquillamente recarsi in questa trattoria approvata al 100%."

"Overall a disappointing experience. Mistakes happen but it's how they are dealt with that is important. Two incorrect orders. My companion's main course eventually arrived 20 mins later than mine. The blackened pork fillet was tough and not worth the wait. The staff were not interested. Nor were they interested in serving the very polite couple who waited and waited but despite asking, their order was never taken. Eventually they walked out.
