"Thanks to our American Yelpers we decided to try this quaint little restaurant before flying back to Texas tomorrow morning. The food in Italy is something to rave about. We haven't had a bad meal in two weeks! This place ranks up there with the best of the best. Family owned and on a side street, this place is the bomb. Highly recommended! Italians dine late so us Texans like to eat dinner around 7:30pm local time which is their opening time. We were their first guests on a Friday evening and the restaurant began to get busier as we finished our meal. We decided to try the five course sampler and shared everything. The arugula salad over thinly sliced fresh tuna was our starter dish. Amazing! Second course was Italian salmon sashimi! Amazing! Third course was warm hummus miniature tacos. Pretty unusual as we have never had warm hummus. Amazing! We are getting full but the fourth course was egg pasta with cooked tuna in a tomato sauce. Holy cow Batman, crazy deliciousoso! 5th course was a cooked Bream Snapper with thin sliced potatoes. Amazing! BTW amazing really doesn't explain how good everything tastes. And drum roll please, for dessert we ordered the best Tiramisu we have ever tasted. God bless Italy and their many restaurants!! Overall an an awesome dining experience. Nicolo was our waiter and he is an all star too! Great service, great food, a cool little restaurant that when in Fiumicino near the airport you gotta try this place! Enjoy my fellow Yelpers! This place is Michelin level!!!"

"Most people would overlook or walk/drive past this unassuming neighborhood place. And when they did, they would be missing out on a treat. We had skipped lunch so were starving by 5:30 pm. Most places in Fiumicino don’t reopen after reposo until 7:30 or 8:00. Walking in unannounced at 6:40, the husband-wife team?? agreed to serve us early if we didn’t mind that they would continue to prepare for dinner service. We gladly accepted! House white wine was respectable, especially at $5/litre. 2 Birra Poretti for hubby were also $5/beer. Polpo con patata appetizer for $10 was perfect portion to share. Seafood/pasta cravings resulted in spaghetti alla vongole for myself and spaghetti-something-or-other (A mix of muscles, clams, shrimp, tomatoes, etc. . Both pastas were PERFECTLY prepared. I mean served piping hot, both seafood and pasta cooked perfectly, with the right amount of parsley and broth, and extremely generous amounts of the seafood. I could go into the crazy good serenade by a private party goer on the karaoke, or the adorable daughter of the owners sitting behind us watching a video while her parents hustled their butts off to serve the customers, but that would take away from the fact that this was simply good food. This is a family restaurant in a residential neighborhood, with quality ingredients and reasonably priced fare. If you are looking to be pampered, or for four star service, this is not the place for you. This is great, wholesome, delicious food like your Nonna or Momma would prepare. Worth every penny and your time."

"Io e 5 miei familiari (di età compresa tra 40 e 91 anni! su consiglio di un amico siamo stati 'ospiti ' di questo meraviglioso ristorante a pranzo il giorno di Ferragosto 2018. Sottolineo 'ospiti ', perché più che clienti ci è sembrato di essere veramente degli ospiti, accolti e 'coccolati ' sia dalla proprietaria sia dal personale di sala sia dallo chef che puntualmente è venuto ad informarsi ad ogni pietanza se fosse di nostro gusto. La sala ci è piaciuta molto, nella sua semplicità ma arredata con gusto, pulitissima e luminosa. La lista dei vini è più che fornita. Gli antipasti favolosi e per nulla eccessivi (in modo da non saziare prima delle pietanze! . Le pietanze, di giusta quantità, sono state presentate in modo più che creativo e preparate in maniera magistrale: giusto sapore, giusti condimenti... giusto tutto! La cucina, praticamente a vista, è apparsa pulitissima e in ordine... e ricordo che era Ferragosto! Le materie prime adoperate (addirittura pane, pizza e grissini 'fatti in casa '! sono eccellenti. Il pesce freschissimo. Anche la pasticceria è fatta in casa ed eccellente. Simpatico e apprezzato anche il fritto di paranza (offerto dalla Casa . In ultimo, ma non meno importante, il Bagno pulitissimo e in ordine. Insomma, dopo esserci consultati, il nostro giudizio unanime è più che eccellente! Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff, in particolare alla Signora Rosanna: certamente torneremo e consiglieremo questo Ristorante ad amici e parenti. Marco Brusadin e famiglia"
